43300 wheat bags seized during raid

District administration teams launched crackdown under Anti-hoarding ordinance 2020 and seized 43300 wheat bags. Assistant Commissioners under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali have conducted 14 raids alongwith food department and police at private godowns and recovered 43300 wheat bags and handed over to food department. DC Zulfiqar Ali said that hoarders deserve no tolerance and added that crackdown will continue till elimination of such elements.
In Lahore district government took action against hoarders on Friday and recovered 4800 wheat bags from warehouses located in Barki and Hadyara areas. According to official sources here, 1800 wheat bags were recovered from a warehouse located in Barki and 3000 wheat bags recovered from a godown in Hadyara. Seized bags had been shifted to wheat purchase centre in Barki, sources added—APP

You can stock wheat only in 2 cases. 1 if you are a farmer who produces and for that there is a selling time period. 2 if you have a flour mill or seed packaging plant. other wise 60 bags are enough for your family for a year to stock. Which is a common practice in rural areas.

They are storing, to create kind of shortage so that the price in that area goes up. Daily prices are revised on every day basics. This is a curse to any nation. I hope government would also implement those harsh punishment according to the ordinance.

Yar it is not possible. A further choas could lead anywhere with imran winning and these mafias ending. Or him loosing and they comeback to power. You are sensible but running is country like Pakistan is very difficult. You have to please everyone. The people would never learn.
There is another thing. Why a party like people party was tolerated. If not they would turn anti national. They would say become separatist. They always play sindh card. Sindh mehroomi. They are quite happy with sindh and corruption. Sadly.
Even balochistan government in itself was rolling extensive package for doctors and health services. Punjab and kpk are. Even azad kahsmir is. And all they do is bark. Unable to give a single rupee.
