43 Bangladeshis held while entering India illegally

The Bangladesh border guards today rescued 43 locals including fifteen women and eight children from Satkhira and Jessore at three bordering points of the districts while they were being trafficked into India today.

They were all lured by traffickers in search for jobs, our Satkhira and Benapole correspondents report quoting Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officials.

No traffickers were held till filing of this report at 5:15pm today.

In Satkhira, BGB rescued 15 Bangladeshis including five women and two children from Kakdanga frontier, said Golam Sarwar, company commander of Kakdanga BGB camp.

A case was filed in this regard under the passport law before handing them over to Koloroa Police Station, he added.

Satkhira BGB 38 battalion Operation Officer Maj Ahsan Habib endorsed the incident.

In Jessore, 28 Bangladeshis including ten women and six children were rescued in separate drives.

Five youths were rescued from the Putkhali frontier under Sharsha upazila, our Jessore correspondent reports quoting Lt Col Abdur Rahim, commanding officer of BGB 23 battalion.

They will be produced before a Jessore court in the afternoon, said Rafiqul Isla, the officer-in-charge (investigation) of Benapole Port Police Station.

Meanwhile, 23 Bangladeshis including ten women and six children were rescued from Daulatpur frontier in the upazila, reports the correspondent quoting Lt Col Abdur Rahim.

They were handed over to the police station and a case was filed against them with the police station, the BGB official said.

do u know that how they are taken to India ? they are from village and the broker takes them by telling them he/she will give job in garments in dhaka. those women and children never left their village in their lifetime, so they don't know the route.

traffickers also get caught, but not this time. anyway cross border trafficking involves both sides ppl. don't u wounder who is the indian side behind it ? and never heard of them ?

bhai if the BD side traffickers were caught then indian side traffickers info could have been got and both sides traffickers could have been rounded up

see dont get into this INdia-pak mentality with India-BD

though we are not brother but we are better than india-pak

BD has helped in rounding up terrosits operating from BD

we have helped in rounding up terrorists of BD operitng from India - recently we have also given terro attack warnings and warnings of major attack on your major politicians
