india has highest number of poor(absolute terms) so naturally it has highest number of malnourished kids(absolute term),its always better to compare on % between 2 countries anyways

It is important to see how many over-weight there are vs underweight. This will highlight the class differences between those that can over-indulge vs those that are neglected and don't have the means for a meal at least once a day.

There is only an equilibrium when middle class are in higher numbers than the elite and poverty-stricken.

Well.... underweight means lack of calories.... overweight means too much, plus lack of calorie burning (working out)......

Looks like the middle class could use a 2 mile daily run (takes willpower).

The poor could use some decent food stuffs (takes redistribution of food, refrigeration, killing of rodents which eat food).

It can be achieved, but it has to be a priority first. The Congress (like most elected governments) is pre-occupied with staying in power.
