Have we not seen terrorists use children as young as 8 as suicide bombers to fulfill their evil agenda of death and destruction? Are these not the same people who were closing down girls schools but have no objection to recruiting and training young girls to blow themselves up?
Children are the future of any nation. They should be protected and nurtured, but these terrorists are deviously adept at fooling the poor parents into letting their children go and learn at a seminary. Parents, who are already burdened with feeding many mouths, let their children go with the promise that all costs of food, lodging and boarding will be borne by the seminary administration. This is just a façade; the fact is that these children go through training and are brainwashed to become suicide bombers. Hundreds of children have been put to death in this manner. We commend the efforts of Afghan police who intercepted and rescued 41 children from becoming human bombs at the hands of the terrorists. The 41 rescued children aged 6 to 11 were reunited with their parents. It is time to double our efforts on both sides of the border to restrict child trafficking and clamp down on terrorist safe areas so they are not used to train children into becoming suicide bombers.
