Sometimes during festive occasions like house warming, its sprinkled that I know. But drinking is something i have never heard off or seen myself in India. As someone pointed out earlier, India is too diverse and large to be painted with one lens.

You haven't answered my question but if you don't know the answer then no problem.

Mate, it's all good I don't see anything wrong with it if they are not hurting anyone. I personally believe in the whole getting hurt for the Lord thing, as in my opinion the Lord does not want that.

First time I have no sympathy for down trodden people of India!

Now I know why they want to keep cows safe , so they can trample the foolish Indians.
