40% of Punjab's development budget spent on Lahore

Lahore is the capital of Punjab that's why more budget is spend on Lahore just like in Karachi Sindh budget is spend more on Karachi rather then whole sindh... as well as queeta and peshawar....

This is no justification for spending 40% of budget on one city and please don't give sweeping statements. If this is the state then Punjab may be divided into Potohar, Punjab and South Punjab or whatever you name them. At least 3 cities will be getting 40%, if going by your logic.

How much revenueis generated by Lahore? If this figure is correct then it explains why do people of S Punjab want a province of their own? Its good that capital city of Punjab Lahore is at top priority regarding development projects but every city should generate it’s resources for development projects. We know Karachi(capital of Sindh province) is also more developed as compare to rest of the cities of Sindh but at the same time it also generate more revenue. what about Peshawar/Queta compare to other cities in their province?

we cannot compare punjab with other provinces as punjab is having more then 60% of total population of pakistan and also have 8 major cities of pakistan in it ... lahore , faisalabad , gujranwala , sialkot , gujrat , rawalpindi , sargodha , multan , bahawalpur and list goes on while kpk sindh and blochistan are having only one or Maximum 2 major cities with population of millions ...

Lahore now is NOT being given enough share, this greatest city is the Capital of the most rich and forward looking Province of Pakistan. It has one of the greatest history....due to politics Lahore's investment share is slowly being taken away.

Am 100% if ever Imran Khan or PTI comes, Lahore will go to the ruins.
