40 Iranians kidnapped in Syria

just for you thefreesyrian :
i have a question , which one exactly do you thing is a special force prepared for a foreign operation?
and another question: if you are a IRGC member who want to go the syria , will you carry you IRGC ID Cards?
and i count just 41 person , where are the others? maybe they were women?! :azn:
and my last question : are IRGC special ops , old and fat guys?
You watch too much Hollywood movies. Many real spies are old fat guys, not tall muscular sexy young men.

Burn the Iranian flag and insult Iranian leaders for their decisions. Not to mention that even burning the flag of Iran is an insult to all Iranians, not only Iranian leaders, but I know that when the situation is like that people get too emotional, but why should they use them as human shields to blackmail Assad? Your problem is with our leaders, not with our people I think, unless there are other motivations and sentiments inside FSA.

Even if they are still IRGC personnel as the FSA claim, why should they kill them without a fair trial? Do you think Iran would send its military personnel to such a war zone with no arms or military back up? See it from this perspective please: We have good relations with Assad, we could send any forces we want by air planes to Syrian military air ports. No? If they were really military personnel, they wouldn't have gone to there unarmed or with no cover. Not that I don't think of these people as stupid to go to Syria at the middle of war, but this way of killing them is just unjustifiable I think.
I think you should imagine a bus full of saudi fit men going straight to south beyrouth from the airport in an area controlled by salafist.
You got the picture

I get what you say, but believe me, these people are just fool pilgrims.
Do you think it's that hard to send 40 IRGC militia men to Syria? An airplane could carry over 100 IRGC militia men disguised among civilians. Iran can safely send its militia men to Syria by airplanes to safe Syrian air ports while they're armed to the teeth to defend themselves.

It's not really nice to see innocent people getting killed. Especially when these people have nothing to do with the Iranian authorities who make decisions.

Iran admitted using Al Quds brigades in Syria, Its primarily spying force.
Iran never admitted that.

It is very difficult for a sane mind to believe that these Iranian captives were on religious pilgrimage, at this juncture of civil war and ethnic hatred towards shies in general and Iranian in particular.

Iran never admitted that.
A senior commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guards has admitted that Iranian forces are operating in Syria in support of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Ismail Gha'ani, the deputy head of Iran's Quds force, the arm of the Revolutionary Guards tasked with overseas operations, said in an interview with the semi-official Isna news agency: "If the Islamic republic was not present in Syria, the massacre of people would have happened on a much larger scale."

Isna published the interview at the weekend but subsequently removed it from its website.

It quoted Gha'ani as saying: "Before our presence in Syria, too many people were killed by the opposition but with the physical and non-physical presence of the Islamic republic, big massacres in Syria were prevented."

Guardian doesn't count, show me reliable sources please.

Good.

These were Iranian Army personnel. They are working hands-in-hand with Syrian president and are involved in the genocide of Syrian citizens.

Might be deception tactic to facilitate them secret agents to intermingle with the pilgrims? Still i think the captives must be interrogated and punished according to law and should not be executed to take revenge from the Iranian Government.

You are full of hate. This will kill you someday.
There is no genocide in Syria, there is Syrian forces on one side and merceneries on other side,no civilians here.

The bold part is enough to prove that you aren't well-informed about the situation at all. If you know 1% of what's going on, you would've already noticed that the FSA is claiming they are IRGC agents, not the Iranian army.

Why they would need deception tactic? To risk their lives for what? When they can safely send their agents by air planes landing in safe Syrian military airports, why they need to risk anything?
Indeed.
