You talk of wondering weather Allah is God or not. Well intellect should tell you that something you make from your own hand sit front of worship and when done you can break it and throw it away is not God.
Look at your Veydahs they tell you you have one God. But only your priests read that. Seeta's tell you you have many manifestations of the same God and hence you worship the individual manifestations. Question yourself and you will find the truth. Apply your intelligence that you quoted
