Doubt their is any isis in Afghanistan. Most probably isis name is being used to further pressurize the Afghan govt by indulging in these inhuman acts by the Afghan taliban.
Pakistan should re consider its policy of supporting the taliban as they will also become culpable for war crimes once hostilities cease.

The loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group released the pictures of the terrorists who were involved in a deadly coordinated attack on Kabul’s main military hospital.

The pictures circulated on social media purportedly show the militants are equipped with suicide bombing vests and belts.

The loyalists of the terror group have released the pictures via its media wing, the Amaq news.

The attack on Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital was launched around 9 am local time after one of the militants detonated his explosives near the hospital.

The remaining militants started clashes with the security forces that lasted until later on Wednesday afternoon.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) officials said at least thirty people were killed and around 50 others were wounded in the attack.

MoD spokesman Gen. Dawlat Waziri confirmed the casualties toll.

According to the officials, the militants had disguised themselves in health workers uniforms to penetrate inside the hospital and indiscriminately open fire on the workers and the patients.

The Taliban group initially rejected their role in the attack and said the group had no plan to carry out an attack on any hospital.

The relevant security institutions are assessing the claims made by the loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist as preliminary leads have been found by the intelligence operatives.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) spokesman Sediq Sediqi informed regarding the progress a day after the main military hospital was hit by one of the deadliest coordinated attacks for which ISIS loyalists claimed responsibility.

“We are assessing Daesh claims to yesterday’s attack, but at this stage we can’t make a prejudgment prior to conclusion of investigation,” he said in a Twitter post.

Sediqi further added “Brutal terrorist groups like ISIS,Taliban,Haqqani & many other regional terrorist networks with safe heavens n Pakistan which have been behind many horrific attacks in the past are unfortunately operates in Afg and have been behind the recent attacks n Kabul&other parts.”

“We will heavily depend on our investigation to determine the group. Our intelligence have found some leads regarding yesterday’s attack,” he added.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) officials said Thursday that the attack on Sardar Moammad Daud Khan hospital left over 30 people dead.

The officials further added that the attack was launched earlier on Wednesday morning and continued for several hours before the militants were shot dead at around 3:00 pm local time.

An explosion rocked Kabul city in the vicinity of the 10th police district earlier this evening, leaving at least one person dead and nearly eight others wounded.

A minibus was targeted as it was travelling between Taimani and Qala-e-Fatullah area of the city, carrying the employees of a private telecommunications company.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) spokesman Sediq Sediqi confirmed the incident and said preliminary reports suggest at least one person was killed and eight others were wounded in the incident.

He said the person killed in the attack was a woman and at least eight other were wounded.

The type of the explosion has not been ascertained so far but another official confirmed that the vehicle was carrying the employees of a private telecommunications company and was targeted in a roadside bomb.

No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.

At least twenty three people have been arrested in connection to a deadly attack on main military hospital in Kabul, Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital.

The Minister of Defense Abdullah Habibi informed regarding the arrest of the individuals as he was briefing the lawmakers in the Lower House of the Parliament.

Habibi further added that the detective and intelligence organs have made negligence on duty.

He said the files of the detained people have been immediately sent to the judiciary institutions for further investigations.

This comes as a delegation which has been given the task to investigate the deadly Kabul military hospital attack provided partial updates regarding the investigation nearly two weeks ago.

According to the head of the probe team Hialuddin Hilal, investigations confirm fifty people were killed in the attack and at least 30 others were wounded.

He had said at least twenty people having different positions and duties have been charged with negligence and an investigation is still underway.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group claimed responsibility behind the attack but Hilal said it would be early to confirm who was behind the attack as investigations are still underway.
