3G Internet Data Service in Pakistan?

it has been now a year since i moved back from england, but no luck so far with mobile connectivity. i am using telenor and edge internet is ****.

i have been reading 3G news and koi kuch bolta hai koi kuch :///

Any news when exactly 3G would be available to use so our life improves.

plus...

any clue on unblocking youtube. proxy and diff apps say tou chalta hai

but i want to use it the legal right way and from official youtube app.


why is it still block?

Read your post twice and tell if Karachi is out of Pakistan or not.


I am talking about pakistan as a 'WHOLE'.

there is no 3G connectivity, govt has not even issued licence for it.

This is absolute absurd and disgusting. I called telenor people and they said they have prepared for the Launch of 3G and updated its systems but govt is not issuing the licence.


Plus. why is it that youtube still blocked? isnt it that persons problem who view the disgusting video against the honour of our beloved prophet.
i dont want to sound stupid but , people come out to protest agaisnt youtube and get it banned.

but unka AADHA EMAAN tou pura nai jo ''SAFAI' hai (safai nisf emaan hai).

but half of their faith depends on cleanliness as islam says in holy quran, whereas they are disgusting and live like animals when it comes to cleanliness.

thn how will this country surivive agar religion kay naam per sub ban ker dou?

every other way works. i have bought apps for ipad and iphone (puffin browser) from which i could acces youtube.
there are several proxies way too.

but what i am trying to ask people why youtube is blocked? and when will it be unblocked.

because i miss using it from the iphone and ipad youtube official app.

i learn so much from youtube. my hobby is keeping fish and all my life about computer and keeping fish i learnt from youtube.

If you don't like it, change it.

Write a letter to Ganja Sharif and Ganja bro. Get a petition started by students in Islamabad. Turn it into a facebook phenomena of students from all over the country.

Fight for your rights.

Otherwise, use a proxy.

there is Edge mobile internet service. which is far slower than 3g. give around 0.40 kb download speed lol...

i use Edge at the moment on my iphone 4s, and my phones curse me daily for that lol

There is 3G but quality is very bad specially outside of major cities like lahore, i was using Telenor while i was in Pakistan......but now i am using 4G.

i use PDF from my mobile
3G is sold here through some wireless networks like EVO 3G……it also supposts direct socket and wifi for mobile within 100m

Its hit some red tape but the good news is that most cell providers have already upgraded to 3G standards or are in the process of upgrading. As soon as the bidding is done it will be provided with very little downtime.

And thank you for coming back and taking charge of our country the only way it is possible and not trying to "miss" your country from abroad. We need a lot less thread starters about what Pakistan needs to do while they try to sort out their lives in another country.
