This is a old story.
They will present a SUV.

Erdoğan personally thinks that a big country should produce its own tanks, weapons, planes, copters, ..., ..., ... and cars. That's why he pushes on it too hard since Turkey one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world. It's kinda weird not to have to own car brand.

it is weird i find it humiliating buying other countrie cars these industries dont hire us. I am great beliver in build everything at home and only buy outside if they buy yours. Turkey needs to build everything and export, erdogan can use his image to promote it personally.

I (Fuat Uğur) also tested 100% domestic and national car from DMA company with support of İTÜ university.
She is going 450 km with a charge of 45 min that costs 5.20£ (around 0.90$).
She has a range of 550 km with full charge.
You can full charge her in 7-8 hours time with plugging into your home electric circuit
She have a silent force that reaches 200 km just in 20 seconds.
She has 232 batteries compared to the Tesla’s 12000 and has a weight of around 1700 kg.
The company’s aim to have a range of 1200 km with a 6 min charge in future. She had 70 km with 20 hours charge in 2007.

Given turkey is starting off it should go into electric car as the world is moving that way. Its pointless to make your own car but have it run of fuel rather than electricity.

Major companies are either introducing hybrid or stand alone electric cars.

I agree Turkey and all other developing countries should have their own cars, it save massive $$$ in terms off imports. Even if local car is expensive but the money stays in the country.

An order of few thousands pieces by TSK will follow.
Better than buying Toyota, right? And our vehicle and our money why a German interested in?
Do you know why I dont care how and where your army spent in because it is nonsense to care about utility vehicle.
