Police chief Pujuth Jayasundara sent an intelligence warning to top officers on April 11 setting out the threat.

"A foreign intelligence agency has reported that the National Thowheeth Jama'ath (NTJ) is planning to carry out suicide attacks targeting prominent churches as well as the Indian High Commission in Colombo," said the alert. The NTJ came to notice last year when it was linked to the vandalisation of Buddhist statues.

Unfortunately, this incident marks the start of new 'Insurgency' type movement in Sri-Lanka because Sri-Lanka is supporting the Chinese BRI. Things will get much messier. The country that gains the most from this is India.

As per intelligence reports, more than 100 calls were made from Pakistan to the numbers at the place of blasts just 50 to 20 mins before the blast. I don't have any proofs for this as these were from intel sources.
