Agreed. If the maligining campaign was based on hearsay, IK should definitely apologize. But this picture posted by Samson Sharaf is to compelling that there was rigging in 35 constituencies.

Sorry to say but it was not expected from you. IK has said nothing new in the interview or has he? He has maintained this throughout that he heard from someone that a telephonic conversation between Sethi and Nawaz (?) was recorded in the which the two were overheard talking about 35 punctures. If this allegation was wrong, why Sethi did not file a defamation case against IK back then? and what is stopping him from doing this now? Why should IK seek for apology? It was an allegation, it still is an allegation, and calling it a 'political statement' changes nothing about the nature of the statement. IK never said that he never heard of 35 punctures or what not. I was hearing to Dr. Shahid Masood and according to him, there indeed is some truth in it and that he is willing to share with court if summoned as a witness. IK is wrong on many things but not on everything and you must not surrender to the propaganda of patwaris, for they have done PhDs in spinning words.

Makes sense, but why issuing contradictory statements then? When you know your opponents are known to twist things and present them in wrong way to spread their propaganda.

What I was just saying, the campaign against Sethi was indeed very brutal. If there is evidence behind this 35 punctures scam then IK should stay firm on it like he was on day one. Not questioning Sethi in front of JC, not asking even a single question about 35 punctures are things that are confusing PTI's stance over 35 punctures. And if there is no evidence behind this and if it was just a political statement, then IK should accept the mistake and apologize publicaly. Whatever it is, IK needs to come hard on it.

This just can't end here like this, either Sethi must file a defamation case against IK to make him pay for this crap and teach him a lesson or IK should come in front of public and issue an apology to Najam Sethi exactly the way he used to malign Sethi day & night in public. The campaign from PTI against Sethi was ruthless and brutal and if it was based on nothing then Sethi deserves an official apology.

defamation case by Najam sethi is already in court, and nor IK receiving the Notice Nor IK submitted any reply.
