331 US officials may leave Pak under secret deal over Davis

Yes, there would be more than 800 and I would not be surprised. Compare this with other countries and the diplomatic crisis that ensues when even one "diplomat" comes close to being declared persona non grata. 331 to me remains a high figure. May be the upside to the entire ISI-CIA engineered Davis deal, so what if the ghairat birgade has not been appeased, as long as our national security does not have its bottom knocked out. Or may be not knocked out any further... Being a true Pakistani, trying to find a silver lining just abotu anywhere now...

Please stop baseless anti army rants.

How come army hijack a judicial matter? and where is your proof?

As i know it was paid from Pakistan exchequer and army was strictly told to not interfere in judicial and economic matters.

You highlight ghairat brigade and say that it's an anti-army rant? How?

But on second thought, you might be right, the guy who represents the ISI in the missing people case appears out of nowhere to represent the families because he got an ilhaam the night before.

And may be it was Zardari meeting the US gen in Oman.

Wait... you are absolutely spot on -- no sight nor whiff of the ISI.

Wise move no point in paying salaries for sitting idle.
US have left with no choice but to use TTP and RAW double agents.
All the money will flow to indian pockets.

And how can you prove what you have to say?

Either each of you does not understand what the other is saying or both of you are not sure what you yourself have said and when technically both of you are saying the same thing. If in fact more than 300 US "Diplomats" are leaving Pakistan than it is not an ordinary occurrence. Like Elmo said, even the ejection of a single Diplomat is a diplomatic crisis let alone 300+. So even if the "Normal Average Pakistani" is not happy about the "Deal" of letting Raymond go but which in hindsight is beneficial for the sovereignty and security of Pakistan, than i'm all for it. And if this has been achieved by the influence of the Army than I salute them. Not everyone is supposed to know everything and that is the motto of the Army, so let the Gairat Brigade knock themselves out with the rallies as it is the best opportunity for them to "Chamka" their "Siyasat", let us put Pakistan first.

No one cares about sentimental ones so if the deal was really in offing then its a good news BUT i doubt it has been done under any such deal. The more likely scenario is that US spies have been netted and now they might be flying back for replacement in near future with less known ones
Jana,,, looking at Army Chief condemning attack first time that too load & clear & looking victim families being compensated probably first time too, indicates there was a deal that was then violated by that attack on pro-Pakistan jirga.

Then US embassador was called in foreign office & then he/she probably left for US to communicate Pakistan "MESSAGE" to US officials... it is also quite significant.

And the deal is struck davis is released, with ISI asking US that 331 men leave the country with a gift on the next day of raymond's release? Anybody make me understand this.

yes i guess both of them are confusing it.

on topic:

They are not diplomats and their leaving the country wont make any noise. as far as i know we had been compiling the lists of such unknown US diplomats recently and seems they are going to leave after they came under the scanner.

i dont think so US is evacuating them under any deal

If news is authentic , then it's a big deal. Because something (some step) is better than none.

Departure of davis without justice is a sad happening..just another example of americans twisting our own religion before ourselves for their nefarious gains..history says this has happened again and again..however atleast ISI was able to extract something out of him and as a result we hope there will be massive drop in terrorist activities inside Pakistan.
