Musharraf was not that popular himself. He rather lost his popularity after the start of the war of terror and that we saw during the lawyers movement. Iftikhar Ch. was only popular because he stood in against Musharraf: a dictator who took decisions alone against the will of the nation.

Today no one remembers Iftikhar Ch in good words. Musharraf supported MQM in Karachi and Q-league in Punjab. Q-league is a B team of PMLn but with some better attitude towards the state but they can never replace PMLn. PPP was really popular in Punjab during ZAB's time but Zia-ul-Haq used exploited ethnic divides to destroy PPP.

PTI on the other hand is federating party so there's a big shift already in Punjab's politics and if PTI successfully completes the process of accountability and does not make compromises, PMLn is a history. PTI has a lot of mess in itself which resulted in lesser number of seats other PTI won't need any coalition partners to form the govt.

KP is doing fantastic.

Police reforms and land reforms along with educational and health reforms are finally starting to show their results. I can speak for people from Swat. What a tremendous change this area has gone through.
My friend’s son visiting from Canada got sick . Instead of private clinic he was taken to government hospital. My friend was very happy with the care he received. His family kids quit expensive private schools and now go to public school.
There is hope and satisfaction common people have never felt.

Our property in Hattar is taken over by our relatives. Last year while Nawaz was in power I was advised by the police to settle the case before government changes. FIA and SeCP was involved. Police was taking money no problem. Now I swear it is impossible to offer bribe to higher level.


They simply won’t take money. This is the new KP. Although it is a huge set back for us but I am so happy to see there is a system of checks and balance in place now.
I can tell you I personally met with the speaker KP in Toronto and told him about our property at some gathering. He got up and announced that anyone having a problem can contact his office directly for help and guidance . He gave me his cell number.

So those questioning KP elections and governments are stupid who know nothing except repeat Nawaz BS.
