That is why i said in a phased manner but if repatriation started in 2008 it was way too slow or done half - heartedly but its good Pakistan is getting rid of afghans.

Obviously such a large number is burden to your economy but how do you check illegal migration in future if these refugees returened.

Not easy to stop illegal immigrants. Afghan govt as an official policy don't ask for documents if someone is entering Pakistan. Replace Pakistan with Afghanistan and India with Pakistan. Now imagine! Our hope is to make living here more unattractive for them through continuous checking. It is unfortunate but honestly we have had it!

But as per my personal opinion,Both registered,illegal and those already having Pakistani citizenship,in Total the afghan in pakistan today are no less than 8-9Million.The numbers might be even higher than this,but is surely no less

So Afghanistan population is 20 million if 10 million of them are in Pakistan? :\
