3 Things we Learned from Jordanian Pilots Burning

What's your problem with this article? Yeah it doesn't conform with your black & white western narrative of events where evil muslims are always against freedom loving benevolent west and Islam is the reason for evil acts of some muslims. Any thing else?

This journalist bilal Abdul Kareem spent 2 years in the war zone documenting the syrian war. He knows more abt syria than some 2 bit ignorant poster who gets his info from faux news sitting in UK. Just like ISIS extremist, your type of extremists also lack the ability to excuse your selves when someone with credentials disagree with you. After all ISIS extremist and pro-western "liberal" extremist are 2 sides of the same coin.

My problem is that this journalist puts blame on the victim here by accusing the Jordanian pilot of 'riling' up many Muslims all over the world because his government bombed ISIS and not Assad. You're experienced journalist fails to point out that the pilot is not guilty of anything but serving his country.

Secondly, this experienced journalist denounces ISIS in the same article, but seems to feel the Jordanians are guilty for attacking the same group. The man needs to make up his mind where his loyalties lie because it's obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing now.

Ps Lolz at ur UK faux news. Bangladeshi news is the one we should all be reading right?! Being in Syria itself proves nothing. Most of the fighters who are actually holding the guns don't even know what they're fighting for. So don't act like bilal abdul Kareem or you, know anything at all.

First of all he didn't put the blame on the victim. U seem to either have comprehension problem or its just your extreme political bias.

Second the journalist just expressed his opinion which is also shared by many ordinary innocent muslims. ISIS terrorist are not the only group in syria. There r 100s of other legitimate islamic groups fighting for a just cause. And it doesn't make practical sense that one evil is solely targeted while leaving the other relatively greater evil , the genocidal maniac Assad alone. If u don't know , the democratically elected president of turkey shares similar views. Also those jordanian bombs didn't discriminate between ISIS & civilians. The experienced journalist simply hinted to these facts.

LOL so people with political bias & 0 ground knowledge know more abt syria than someone who actually documented the war first hand. U western indoctrinated zombies can not be reasoned with.

Another thing that we learned is ISIS was never serious about freeing Sajida from Jordan otherwise they wouldn't have killed pilot and that too by burning.
From the very start they had no intention to free her but just to make Jordan look bad by hoping that Jordan will refuse the release of Sajida and hence they will say "look we tried but they didn't listen" but the plan fall back after Jordan said just prove that pilot is alive and then we can negotiate but by that time pilot was already dead.

seems like in islam burning is prohibited in general but it is allowed in some circumstances...

The permissibility to burn someone to death in retaliation if he burned to death one of the Muslims

Imâm An-Nawawî رحمه الله, "If the transgressor kills using a sword, then Qisâs should not be applied to him with anything other than a sword, because Allâh (Most High) says, "Then whoever transgresses the prohibition against you, you transgress likewise against him. (Quran 2:194)". And also because the sword is the lightest type of pain (i.e. causes the least amount of pain). So if he uses this to kill, but then Qisâs is applied on him with other than a sword- then the oppressed one has taken more than his legitimate right; because he only had the right to kill, yet, he not only killed, he also caused the transgressor torment.

But if the transgressor burned his victim (till death), or drowned him, or threw stones at him (till death), or threw him off a cliff, or struck him with a piece of wood (till death), or confined him (till death), or refused to give him water and food till the victim died- then it is the right of the guardian to apply Qisâs with the equal means, since Allâh says, "And if you punish (your enemy, O you believers in the Oneness of Allâh), then punish them with the like of that with which you were afflicted. (Quran 16:126)". And also due to what is narrated form Al-Barâ' may Allâh be pleased with him from the Prophet ﻢﻠﺳﻭ ﻪﻴﻠﻋ ﷲﺍ ﻰﻠﺻ, "Whosoever torches (a Muslim till death), then we shall also torch him; and whosoever drowns (a Muslim till death), then we shall also drown him."

And Qisâs is a matter of being equally like in retaliation, and it is perfectly possible to be equally like in retaliation with regards to these forms of Qisâs to be carried out- so it is permissible. And it is also permissible for the oppressed (in the situations just mentioned) to use a sword for Qisâs, because it is his right to kill and also torment- but if he only chooses to kill with a sword and gives up his right to torment, then this is also permissible." (End of quote from Imâm An-Nawawî رحمه الله)

I saw the 22 minute long video released by Daesh. They showed photos of civilians (children and adults) from Ar-Raqqah who were killed or wounded by the coalition forces. Apparently.

So that might be why they burned him to death.

Members of the Jordanian parliament calling for revenge against Daesh.

Bunch of hypocrites, their suicide bombings in markets killed a huge number of children and other innocent beings.

Speaking of logic to fundos and terrorists is like bhens kay aagau bean bajana....... they just understand one tune, speak to them in theirs........ a bullet.

What to expect from Khawarij? Satanical creatures that must face the blade of the sword.

Well, I am just telling about the logic that they used to justice the burning.

I took a look at some pro-Daesh forums. Arabic and non-Arabic. It seems that even members there were shocked. Most supporters of this action were Caucasian members (I could judge this by their usernames). Anyway those are actions of a desperate terrorist organization.

The positive thing here is that only the most retarded creatures will support Daesh now. I expect manhunts to take place in Jordan on pro-Daesh people.

There is really not much to say.

The violence from all side is appalling.

IS people seems irational... But they are the product of their time and situation.... Brutalised into being brutes.... But even then their action can not be justified.

Their needs to be an end game.... Defeat IS and what replaces it....

The leaders of the region has no vision and the world powers don't give a damn. In the mean time civilians are being decimated by IS, Assad regime, Iraqi Shia government forces and now the coalition,

It's absolutely appalling. The losers are Muslims all round. We need to see who benefits from the actions of IS.

Assad seems to have been rehabilatated.

Iran seems to have been rehabilatated.

Putin seems to have been getting away with what he is doing in Ukraine as the world is transfixed in horror at the antics of IS

Accross the Arab world where unelected leaders seems to hold sway there is more suppression of democracy....

Only winners the neo colonial powes and their pawns like sisi..... Is it really too far a stretch to see that IS actions seem to provide covers for the strength ing of the status quo in the region

Its sad to watch but the kaafirs at ISIS burnt a Jordanian Pilot alive. I was trying to see if there was a thread already about this but I didn't see it. Pakistan needs to send its Army, Navy and Air Force to kill all Daesh kuttay for their evils. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was always humane even when he treated captured soldiers and these people are not only insulting islam but also our Prophet and everything we stand for as muslims. All Muslims must unite to destroy the evil of Daesh/ISIS until they are all dead.

LOL... another timely intervention by the resident clown..... it must be exhausting to get the wrong end of the stick each and every time.

IS did not materialize out of a vacuum..... their leadership are all detainees of abu ghareb prison. Your warped little hindutva mind sees anything remotely to do with muslims as evil. In this case you have uncharacteristically stumbled into an undeniable fact that IS is crazy. However one needs to understand the climate that caused them to be and the solution that will resolve the issue in the longrun. The OP alluded to the fact that IS action seems to be providing cover and justification to regressive policies being carried out elsewhere, which is also undeniable. IS most certainly is a product of the big bad world.

Read more, try to see the bigger picture and attempt to make a lucid comment.

You can also maintain status quo of perfect imbecility.... it is eternally comedic.

What's really interesting is that all of ISIS acts so perfectly fits in the agenda of world leaders.....of countries having a stake in ME. Abe is milking the situation to flex japanese muscles while french bigots recently sent air craft carriers. All the while the blood thirsty assad is dropping barrel bombs over syrian children. The world has literally forgotten abt the 300K civilians killed by assad. There r talks that US is considering assad as an viable ally. ISIS is a good pawn , well manufactured and now contained to serve agenda of global powers. Its the perfect bogey that war-mongering imperialists always wanted.
