yeah yeah, US invaded Iraq without UNSC approval, all wars not approved by UNSC are considered illegal.

How do you know? There are Basis of law about it, and in the legal definition, there are both argument supporting US war are within guideline of resolution 1441. You can argue if the case fulfilled the requirement of resolution 1441 but you cannot simply say it is illegal. As the top legal mind of the world have problem justifying and condemning the war. How do you know it is illegal? Are you a lawyer?

Kofi Annan worked for the UN, it does not Speak "On behalf" of the UN. What he said is his own Opinion, does not represent UN view on the decision. He could have ordered an investigation to whether the war is legal from the basis of UN Charter via UN General Assembly. But he did not do it, one have to wonder why.

No Im not a lawyer, but like you said, rules can be bend, US did a pretty good job on it, with Belgrade and then again with Iraq, this set a good example for all other big players, kick down some doors first, and try to legalize it later.

Had US did not invade Iraq, those item could be devastated the local or fallen into the wrong hand. Which itself justified the war, regardless of the legitimacy of the war itself.

Strange that not many report on finding Chemical Weapon in Iraq.

US can justify Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then maybe China can justify Hochiminh and Manila.

Philippines is not Iraq, besides a skirmish in SCS does not compare to a full invasion of a country processed the 8th largest military in the world at the time. it will be over before any outside power is able to act, and after we take control of all the islands, it will be nothing less than full scale war if US attempt to take it back, like how Russia took Crimea.

I dont want to argue whos hated more, but Israel is hated by every country within 3000 miles of its boarder, and out of the P5 on UNSC, only US hate China enough to do something about it.

China is main founder of post-WWII world law. The world gave UN cecurity council to China because China made huge contributions during WWII. Learn history, it's Japan occupied Philippines in the war, it's Japan was defeated endly. At the moment it's worthless to talk this I know. You always thought Chinese occupied and killed Filipinos during WWII right?

A simple and plain question why China has disputes with all the neighboring countries and claim whether its a Land, Water, or Sea ? Are they the biggest victims in the whole world.
