3 martyred while thwarting cross border terrorist attack from Afghanistan at Kharsin Sector

Typical mil-establishment's double game in order to hedge against the Baloch insurgency, Afghans were allowed in Balochistan to make them a minority in their own province, much in line of allowing target killers of MQM to terrorize urban sindh for three decades. And now they are also making a come back in Karachi.

The only reason why Quetta and the rest of the province is holding up rn is because of Pashtuns and that Akbar Bugti is gone and his sons are gone.

It's not that good of a hedge either lmao

Because Afghans claim Balochistan for themselves and now you are populating it with them 😅

But Baloch don't want to be part of Afghanistan and BLA claims Pashtun areas of Balochistan.

All these separatist groups support each other but then make claims on conflicting land

Didn't the Baloch separatists support Sindh separatists, but then also claim it belongs to India?

Afghans support Baloch separatists, but Baloch separatists literally want an independent state away from them...

Who's Akbar Bugti?

Pakistan must be the most unstable country on the planet right now tbh

General authorized bombing but softies here started protesting that civilians were killed. Pathetic overseas **** awaam are snowflakes as they were the ones opposing it.

IK needs to be sacked for his bloody pacifist approach towards taliban.

Drone strikes and massive bombing is the answer. Collateral damage will occur but that is a cost we must pay for peace.

Yes yes, the Establishment only does what PMs tell them to do. Hilarious.

Also, I've seen the whole gambit of opinions (from pacifist to hawkish) in overseas and domestic Pakistanis, so that was an unnecessary broadside.

Killing TTP foot soldiers is tactics. The Gens have failed to implement any strategy (and they don't need civ approval to do it in practice). The idea was: we'll go soft and make up with India. The problem was: India will keep gobbling up more and doubling down, especially as we have lost credible deterrence in the gray zone / via proxy warfare. This means India-backed groups can keep killing our people and our orgs have limited options to respond. This causes the deterrence deficit to increase and the belligerent (India and its agencies, like RAW) to become emboldened.

Learning from the imperial days via their colonial masters.

I'll give you something even better. No one should try to enforce their interpretation of Islam on others. Of course that doesn't mean we don't run our country according to our shared cultural and religious values. Only in the matter of differences do we show restraint and respect without resorting to violence. This is different from secularism where you allow every societal fitna to run wild. This is how modern Pakistan works, extremist elements are on the fringes. Pakistanis need to realize the blessing that is Pakistan and tone down their stupidity.

Pakistan is a blessing only in potential, not in reality. The reality, judged by various objective statistics regarding development indicators and various indexes, is sobering. Our passport is in the bottom four globally, ranked below North Korea's.

The only way to progress is to learn from the periods of rapid growth of successful states, like China and Singapore. Both implemented clear cultural values (ethics, intellect, etc.) and showed low tolerance for alternative forms. Both also implemented a ruthless meritocracy and soft authoritarianism (which sometimes became hard in China's case).

Nations don't just magically progress. They define who and what they are first, through the efforts of individual intellectuals and policymakers, and then create a system that rewards the most innovative and globally competitive talent.
