3 Force modernization drive: Tk 12, 985 crore proposed as defence budget

So far jane's confirmed bangladesh having this SPH, but said a undisclosed country bought this SPH in 2004. Quite a number of sources say that burma has nora as well. So i am guessing burma has Nora. But quite a number of the sources mentioned that they use these SPH to fight insurgency in the country since they cannot bring tanks and APC onto the hills.

Come on guys!! its wiki who says they have 30 nora.. Wiki also says BD has 1025 BTR-80. The fact is we have 230 BTR-80 and recently ordered for 128 BTR-82A.
Also, We are getting Nora B-52K1, Myanmar (if they really do have) has Nora B-52.

The finance minister mentioned that sophisticated military weapons including MBT-2000 tanks, self-propelled guns, weapons locating radar, armoured personnel carriers (APC), and armoured recovery vehicles and helicopters were procured for the armed forces

Type 90-II (MBT-2000, Al-Khalid) Main Battle Tank - SinoDefence.com

The Type 90-II is a third-generation main battle tank (MBT) designed and developed by the China North Vehicle Research Institute (also known as 201 Institute) in Beijing and the Inner-Mongolia First Machinery Group Corporation (also known as (617 Factory) in Baotou, Inner Mongolia for the export market. A further improved model known as MBT-2000 was marketed by NORINCO to the foreign customers in the late 1990s. The tank is built by Pakistan under license as the Al-Khalid.

Type 90-II MBT 2000 China Chinese main battle tank technical data sheet information description UK*-*Army Recognition*-*Army Recognition

General information

The existence of the main battle tank Type 90-II MBT (also called MBT 2000) was first revealed in late 1991. The Type 90-II is designed and manufactured by the Chinese Company NORINCO. The Type 90-II MBT was also much heavier than previous Chinese-made MBTs, suggesting a transformation of design principles in the Chinese tanks. The tank received extensive field testing but did not enter production due to lack of interest from either domestic or foreign customers. The Type 90-II is not a totally new design with around 45% of its components coming from current designs. This can be broken down as follows: 10% from the Type 59, 15% from the Type 69, and 20% from the Type 85/88C; the remaining 55% being new components. The overall layout of the Type 90-II MBT is conventional with the driver's compartment at the front, fighting compartment in the centre and power pack at the rear. Under a contract signed in May 1990, the Type 90-II is also to be manufactured under licence in Pakistan and further development has resulted in the Khalid MBT which is tailored to meet the specific operational requirements of the Pakistani Armoured Corps.

Development
The initial Al-Khalid prototype was revealed in June 1991, based on the NORINCO Type 90-II MBT, which compared to earlier Chinese MBTs, has significant improvements in the three key areas of MBT design: armour, mobility and firepower. Under the initial contract signed in 1990, the Type 90-II was to be licensed produced at Heavy Industries Texila (HIT) but further developments resulted in Al-Khalid, which is tailored to meet the specific operational requirements of Pakistan Armoured Corps.

Bangladesh Purchases 44 Norinco MBT 2000s « 21st Century Asian Arms Race

The MBT 2000 is expected to be making waves in the global arms market as an effective but cheaper alternative to its closest Russian competition. To date, Peru, Sudan, and Pakistan are its most eager customers. Pakistan has gone a step further by license building its own MBT 2000 version the Al Khalid, which is also on the market.

Chinese Tanks For Everyone

The MBT 2000 is an export version of the Chinese Type 98/99, although they also look similar to the Type 90/Al Khalid (a Type 90 variant developed by China and Pakistan for Pakistani service). The Type 98/99/90/MBT-2000 vehicles are all "improved T-72s." There are lots of improvements, though, many of them similar to what's found in the Russian T-80UM2. The workmanship on these vehicles is a little better than on the T-80UM2

VT-1A / MBT-2000 for Morocco « Royal Moroccan Armed Forces

August 3, 2010: Without any fanfare at all, Morocco has bought 150 Chinese VT1A/MBT 2000 tanks. These are export versions of the Type 98/99, although they also look similar to the Type 90/Al Khalid (a Type 90 variant developed by China and Pakistan for Pakistani service).

Bell-212 fleet upgrade:
An unconfirmed news suggests that Bangladesh Air Force is in the process of replacing its age old Bell-212 fleet. The source could not confirm the news or the possible helicopter type to be introduced in replacement, however, suggests that it might be Harbin Z-9WZ multipurpose helicopters that might replace the Bell-212.

Can anyone confirm the news.
