@A1Kaid Buddy to be a dalit in India is a boon today they have reservations in everything in some places up to 25%, They receive scholarships, free education and reservations in government jobs too.

I am a very bright student and i had a dream to study in the IIT so i wrote the entrance but then i didn't make it but my friend who was way behind me in studies made it because he had a reservation(SC/ST) and i didn't. The difference in our ranks was 3000!

So PS the situation is way better for SC/ST the reforms are doing well. And i dont feel bad that he got the seat coz i know its not a big deal.

Also here are some achievements by SC/ST people in India.

Since 1950, India has enacted and implemented many laws and social initiatives to protect and improve the socio-economic conditions of its Dalit population.[33] By 1995, of all jobs in India, 17.2 percent of the jobs were held by Dalits, greater than their proportion in Indian population.[14] Of the highest paying, senior most jobs in government agencies and government controlled enterprises, over 10 percent of all highest paying jobs were held by members of the Dalit community, a tenfold increase in 40 years. In 1997, India democratically elected K. R. Narayanan, a Dalit, as the nation's President.[14] In last 15 years, Indians born in historically discriminated minority castes have been elected to its highest judicial and political offices.[34][35] The quality of life of Dalit population in India, in 2001, in terms of metrics such as access to health care, life expectancy, education attainability, access to drinking water, housing, etc. was statistically similar to overall population of modern India.[36][37][38]

he is right though. i cant imagine what the native australoids went through since 1000BC in the subcontinent. what is happening today is just a shadow of what used to happen

Youtube video. LOL

I can come up with many videos there calling the creation of pak is a blunder. I hope that would be fine with the mods.

we do have to address these issues of dalits on war footing if we have to be seen as progressive nation. If Dr.Joseph D'Souza is using missionary zeal to uplift these dalits ... so be it. They are the most neglected people in the world and there are way too many we can uplift in this decade through reservations.

False premise. Genetic studies show that Indic population has been stable for about 40,000 years. So everybody is just as native as anybody else.

Why?
Why should one sect of religion have to have a reserved place in society?
Does Indian population still have caste system mindset?
Otherwise, there would be no need for reserved seats for Dalits.
Even in Goverment houses they have reserved seats.
This just shows both the govt and the society of India are racists.

Do away with it, I advise.
Otherwise, it tarnishes your saying of "I'm secular".

Good question. But who will fight for the Ahmadiyya community in Pakistan? If India's secularism is hypocrisy, then what becomes of Pakistani Islamic values when they constitutionally denigrate its citizens?

Bottom line is, Pakistan and Pakistanis are just as bad (if not worse) than Indians when it comes to social backwardness.

Dalits were slaves in Pakistan too,There are chamars in Pak too.
