Anybody proud of our crown jewels going to thank the elder Ganja brother?
I am not aware of the orders, but this is one of the F-16 Pilot who escorted the C-130.C-130 Hercules transport aircraft took Nuke assembly parts from Rawalpindi Airport tpwards Chaggi. Four PAF F-16s armed with air-to-air missiles provided escort, with secret orders to shoot the C-130 down if it tried to fly out of Pakistani airspace. The F-16s were ordered to keep their radio communications equipment turned off so that no orders, in the interim, could be conveyed to them to act otherwise. They were also ordered to ignore any orders to the contrary that got through to them during the duration of the flight even if such orders originated from Air Headquarters.
Ah, the CT BT alas Choti Tind, Bari Tind.

Have to give him credit for having had made the decision early and remain resolute (read Sartaj Aziz's "Between dreams and realities" to get an overview of how the DCC reached the decision).
Here's an excerpt from the post test speech:-

I was trying to find a video where he addresses a crowd in Lahore post May 28 and is saying "pait pay pathar baand lain gay" stuff, but couldn't find it.
I'm referring to his speech earlier today that was on the airwaves. He claimed a 5bn economic grant this time. Poeple cheered and he won their hearts. Perhaps it will be 10 bn next year.I was 500 million not 5b.
Well after twelve years the cats out of the bag as Gohar Ayub who was Pakistan's FM in 1998, has claimed that both Nawaz and Shahbaz were hoping and counting on healthy incentives from Washington hence the lapse of two weeks between Indian and Pakistani tests, however in the end it was the public pressure and COAS's demand to press ahead with conducting. He's gloating about the 5bn promised grants from the US, but of course something would have been offered and in those harsh economic times it would most definitely have been economic aid.
