275,857 motorcycles were registered in the first eight months of the current calendar year across the country, according to official data.

Of the total, 67,410 motorcycles got registration in Dhaka during January to August 2019, according to Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) statistics.

The data also revealed that 395,603 motorbikes were registered in 2018 while 326,550 in 2017.

It will became another problem like Riskaw in future. we need good Public transport not this two wheeler for our transport crisis .

All the countries of the world have gone through this process of two-wheelers. Rickshaws slows the entire traffic because of their slower speed comparing to other modes of transportation. But, motorbikes are even faster than 4-wheeler vehicles inside a City.

So, I do not think it will slow down the traffic. Rather, it will pull the traffic faster. Traffic congestion is caused by the mixing of faster vehicles moving with slower Rickshaws.

pakisthani motorcycles??!! never heard or saw a motorbike which was made by pakisthan..we mainly use indian,chinese,indo and thai motorcycles...

Pakistan exports is peanuts......heck not even that.

So, please ask the govt to establish quite a dozen number of Driving (Training) Schools all over the country and teach the drivers how to drive safe with helmets, no two passengers in a 50 cc bike, no more than two riders including the driver on a cycle, show them video clips of accidents like broken ribs or legs, etc. etc.

Let the traffic Police force them to stop at the intersections when it is red. No mobile talking by the companion while driving, fine the rule-breakers, With taking many such measures there will be lesser number of accidents.

Build also Training Schools for the traffic Police to learn traffic laws. Since Pakistan time the country is running as if it is a boat racing in the villages. No rule and nothing. So, there are accidents.
