If you are over priced you will be soon out of market, you produce to sell, not to keep it to yourself. market is everything.

Apple makes by far the largest profits of any competitor in it’s industry. No one else is close.

They also make incredible products. It’s products with the new M1 chip are a prime example.

Senate bid to counter China thrown into chaos amid GOP objections
An 11th-hour bipartisan deal on the Senate’s behemoth bill aimed at confronting China was derailed late Thursday after a group of GOP senators held up final passage of the legislation.

The Senate is expected to vote on a bipartisan bill aimed at countering China's global economic and political influence, after last-minute opposition nearly derailed its progress late Thursday night.

After weeks of consideration and multiple votes on amendments on the U.S. Innovation and Competition Act, the final vote on the bill was stalled in an overnight session. GOP Senator Ron Johnson argued that the procedure was rushed, and was joined by other Republicans in insisting that more changes be made to the sprawling bill.

Multiple Republican senators are expected to speak before the final vote on the bill, but it is still expected to pass.

"We have every intention of sticking it out until the job is done," Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said as he opened the chamber on Friday. The bill was a key priority for Schumer, who wrote the base of it with Republican Senator Todd Young.

Why US is this scared of China?

There goes NASA and USN budget.... :enjoy:
Why US is this scared of China?
China is truly a competitor worthy of American. Soviet is not even close. China is the most complete competitor in terms of military and economy against US.

The US shall have realized it when they can't defeat the PVA even they don't have sophisticated armour and air superiority during Korea war.

Has nothing to do with being scared, your just a competitor for US. The US spent even more resources countering the Soviets in the Cold War. Competition will lead to US advancement, just as our competition with the Soviets did.

This bill is on TOP of those budgets.

It would be an easy problem to solve if you can just throw money at it.

Reading so much articles regarding printing, i mean investing billions money in the high tech sector by USA. One cant shake off the feeling that the old good USA is scared by China. How pathetic.

A poster claimed the printing money, i mean the investing billions of money has nothing to do with being scared of China, obviously either naive or lying through his yellow teeth. Would USA printing so much money to invest in technology if China didnt invest so much in Made in China 2015?

Well, well, well...

After the failure of containing China via Afganistan, India, Australia etc. ultimately the folks are coming the basics....

There's no short-cut in life....

Then the answer is very simple.

If USA really believes and thinks that China is unfair then don't trade. No need to fabricate all those lies about Xinjiang, etc

That is precisely what China is doing to Australia. :coffee:

In the meantime, the US should triple military budget to counter China. J-20 and Type 055 make Americans look like jokes.

Soviet Union back in the day was only 10% of today China's capabilities, adjusted for era. China makes Russia look like child's play. :china:
