25 Years of Exile of Kashmiri Pandit : What happened on January 19, 1990 ?

No one needs to be moved out forcefully. Simply remove the restrictions preventing India from moving in.
:D Even BJP chickened out in that area. Hindutva was abandoned overnight in Kashmir for idealistic concepts of brotherhood. The KMs of the valley proper were smarter than that, knowing the Pandits voting this time(previously voting cards were often declared invalid for wrong address proof, because all were refugees), they came all out to vote. Taking part in elections is fine to them, if it keeps the Hindus out.

You and I both know this situation is not going to be solved politically.

I have lost all respect for Shahid Kapoor. It is going to be extremely tough for him to make us forget his dirty act.

Forgiveness comes later. If it ever comes.
He is a symptom of the problem. He is proud to have taken part in the movie. Given the anti Hindu nature of Bollywood, his was a good and smart move. :)

This news was ignored - Kashmiri Pandits seek ban on Haider movie
Because the RSS was not involved. :D

So they danced around wearing shoes in a protected monument which happens to be an ancient Hindu temple, one of the few in Kashmir. The Sun God ...err I mean the Devil had a guest appearance too.

Exactly. It was never a political problem. Similar conditions, if it happens anywhere in the world - will always lead to similar consequences.

I will be clear - ANY STATE that is Muslim majority will try to secede, by hook AND by crook.

God save keralites, assamese and WB people in coming decades then

that is sickularism(i have learnt this word here :P)
When hindu tribal/sc/st/lower castes convert themselves (be it any reason, like illiteracy, superstition, money or fear)
it is still peacefull conversion in the eyes of sickulars, but when someone converts into hinduism , its because of RSS, VHP, BJP and BAJRANG DAL.
I am not denying that may be in some cases there can be something wrong but not in all cases, but sickulars find it everywhere.
There is a difference between congressy secularism and a common indian's secularism.
congress put fear in muslims, appease them to get their votes, even they say hindu terrorism to get the votes, its their secularism
their secularism pass out when they see poverty in hindus(what they have done to support tribals, except eating roti in their houses) poverty in muslims(what they have really done to improve the life styles of muslims?,nothing)
increasing extremism in certain areas where they have larger vote banks.
Its a fact that congress has made their image anti-hindu, now they are getting what they deserve.
Well at least you have understood the basic problems which we Dharmics are facing right now.Secularism should be the basic fabric of any working democracy but unfortunately in our country it is being used since independence as an instrument of minority appeasement. You know, the only reason why i like and support the BJP is because it doesn't follow the policy of appeasement unlike most of the "secular" political parties of this country:rolleyes:.

God save keralites, assamese and WB people in coming decades then
If anyone tries to secede WB from India in the near future,it'll simply end up in a massive bloodbath and believe me we won't be at the receiving end this time. Our forefathers made a huge mistake when they allow the partition of Bengal in the first place but rest assured we won't repeat that mistake. Our present generation is more aggressive than that of our forefathers and i can assure you that we simply won't buckle under any kind of pressure.Bengal is not going anywhere,it was,is and always will be a part of the Union of India:coffee:!!

How did the Indian government allow this most barbaric genocide in the history of free India?

Why thousands of man hours of crying and chest beating for Sikhs of Delhi
and Muslims of Gujarat but no one remembers Hindus of Kashmir?

We demand answers! We demand justice. We expect full and complete repatriation and rehabilitation.

@SarthakGanguly
Pray tell me what justice Sikhs have got for 1984. Do not try to rank tragedies friend, they are all as despicable as each other and successive governments have failed to deliver justice to countless victims of numerous atrocities.

I would say, however, in the 2002 case just has been largely delivered and most of the perpetrators are rotting in jail.

Most of us Hindus feel even more strongly about 1984 than the Kashmir injustice (although any such ranking is stuid) because somewhere incorrectly we are associated with it.

I really have no answers for 1984 or even KP issues. Just sad.

so what is your take on one of the proposal that was to trifurcate the Jammu , Kashmir and ladakh ?

do you think that such move will initiate the secession of kashmir valley ?

and how do you see the recent polarization that we saw in J & K elections ? BJP winning big in Jammu and ( expectedly ) losing in valley ?

.
No Indian Government can do anything about it. Not Congress. Not BJP. You can eliminate the terrorists. That's already done - almost.

How can you remove the million ordinary Sunni Kashmiris in Srinagar who hate Hindus for being Hindus? The Pandits left because they got no support from their Muslim neighbors. Not because of a few militants. In fact the several houses that were not burnt down were taken over by the peaceful friendly neighbors. The local Government also disappeared. I was not even 1 then. Our family shifted to my mother's place in Anantnag - place where I grew up...still in the valley at least.

In any case, there is also a massive amount of Hindu hate among our secular classes, so I don't see Pandits/Hindus being accommodated anywhere in the near future - success of Hindutva notwithstanding.

And this will be repeated in other parts of the country as well. Soon.
Right to the point, I can understand your pain brother and that is the reason, I dont care of AFSPA in Valley. They need to understand "Kashmiriyat" first and then should cry for crime upon them.

Don't worry bro, the majority of us know this wasn't a Hindu vs Sikh atrocity, far from it. This was a political act and we all know which party I refer to.

Still it saddens me that even with a new GoI and leader such as Modi no indication has been made that the move to get justice for the victims is now assured.
