Yes I am, they are a credit to our nation.Do You Know About The Pakistani Team Working At CERN??????
I am aware of Riazzudin a brilliant physicst who was taught quantum mechanics and mathematics by Einstein.kudosThere has been a serious decline since that oaf Zulfiqar Bhutto destroyed the education system in the 1970's. In the 1940 - 50's there were several Pakistanis who worked alongside Einstein himself.

Indeed Riazuddin and his brother Fayyazuddin were both amongst the most accomplished physicists that Pakistan has produced. The problem in education is deep rooted, to fix it will require a lot of investment plus a major upgrade in the standard of teaching which is lacking to say the least and a serious attempt to develop a scientific culture is required, todays youth want to become bank managers, doctors or software engineers, hardly anyone wants to be a physict. and you are correct about IITs they really are churning out some top class grads who are being headhunted by google and top end US institution.kudosPakistan Is An Associate Member of CERN And I Have Also Read That Pakistan Has Fabricated Certain Equipment For Them As Well
There Were Two
Riazuddin (physicist) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Muhammad Raziuddin Siddiqui - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brilliant Minds Indeed
I Remember Dr A Q Khan Once Wrote In Article That When He Was Studying Engineering In Germany,There Were Only Two Pakistanis(including Him) and Nearly 70 Indians. The First Education Minister of India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Established 5 World Class IITs And Gave Scholarships.
If We Had Made This Kind Of Investment 50 Years Ago We Would Have Had An Army Of Scientists Like The Above.Education Is An Investment That Requires Massive Money And Patience But The Fruit Is Very Sweet.
Unfortunately When India Had A Visionary Like Azad We Had An Idiot Like Nawab of Kalabagh
Who Was Ready To Close Colleges For An Entire Year Just Because Students Were Protesting

"Democracy is the besssssst revenge" what a bloody joke.Dr Atta Ur Rehman Started A Program Of Nine World Class Engineering Universities. The Chinese One Had Even Announced Classes Back in 2008.Then 'Democracy' Happened
"Parsi cousins of ours"? Kiliwala this "Iranic" or "Iranid" terms are modern words, invented by western linguists to categorize languages in this region , no nationalism based on it exists. Clannish Pashtuns and clannish Balochs, though linguistically are in 'Indo-iranian', are very different from those Farsi-speaking iranians and tajiks who lack tribal lineages and have very different ways of life. Your Pashto language is incomprehensible to Iranians , not just language but their dress, food, customs etc are different. I think you are not paying attention to the details of Pan-iranic nationalism, it centers around "Farsi speakers" of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan...........People like Pashtuns, who have been historically always at odds with Iranians, are excluded from it.Wow first a Parsi cousin of ours and now I discover a Pashtun was also involved! Physics seems to be dominated by us Iranic origin peoples
With siyasi budmuaash, thugs and Utha ee geer occupying and running the country since the last 70 years regard,Qadeer,Sammer mubarakmand,Nargis,Imran and team in CERN as ALLAH'S blessings.Kudos to this gem, however it is unfortunate that we being a country of 180 million have only 2 scientists participating in this path making project.

This ground-breaking and controversial work locates the antecedents of today's Islamic 'fundamentalism' in 16th and 17th century Iran and the forced conversion of the Sunnite population of Iran to the largely alien doctrines of Twelver Shi'ism; the concomitant extirpation of Sufism and philosophy; and the gradual rise of the 'faqih' or jurist."
Overall, the Mongol violence and depredations killed up to three-fourths of the population of the Iranian Plateau, possibly 10 to 15 million people. Some historians have estimated that Iran's population did not again reach its pre-Mongol levels until the mid-20th century.
The Pashtuns began as a union of largely East-Iranian tribes which became the initial ethnic stratum of the Pashtun ethnogenesis, dates from the middle of the first millennium CE and is connected with the dissolution of the Epthalite (White Huns) confederacy. [...] Of the contribution of the Epthalites (White Huns) to the ethnogenesis of the Pashtuns we find evidence in the ethnonym of the largest of the Pashtun tribe unions, the Abdali (Durrani after 1747) associated with the ethnic name of the Epthalites — Abdal. The Siah-posh, the Kafirs (Nuristanis) of the Hindu Kush, called all Pashtuns by a general name of Abdal still at the beginning of the 19th century.

ps I don't have time to completely correct all the nonsense you've spewed in one paragraph, so I'll leave you with one page which has collected some useful material

I have to correct myself , I have come to know of another Pakistani scientist involved in this amazing project Dr Muzammil A. Arain. kudos to this talented individual.Kudos to this gem, however it is unfortunate that we being a country of 180 million have only 2 scientists participating in this path making project.
