can we get rid of f-6or 7's since we got jf-17s now.....one of my very close friend just got shahadat on march 13, becuz of thoes stupid planes

Well we're in urgent need to replace this ageing fleet of obsolete planes, we've already retired the F-6 but the more advanced derivative called the AQ-5 still remain in service with a safer record.

Replancement of F-7P and some older Mirages will commence somewhere in the first quarter of 2009 but it will take 5-6 years to replace the hole fleet of these designs.

The Fuselage is composed of lightweight aluminium alloys. Future Upgrades plan to increase Thrust-Weight Ratio, which can be achieved by using an Engine with more Thrust or by reducing the weight by using composite mateials.
