What's new

2021 DxB Air Show

.
you did your own spying :sarcastic:
Indians have been jumping around on their News Channels & Social Media for those images of our guys visiting Tejas.

By tomorrow, these images will be public too (-courtesy of yours truly).

I wasn't there, but was informed that some of the IAF were scoping out the Super Mushak from a distance until 'someone' called them over & said, "Kya hogaya? Daikho". And they did come over & checked it out.

I said it earlier in the other Topic...

India seems to be under the illusion that PAF didn't bring the JF-17 out of fear of their no-talent piece of crap. Fine.

What was PAF/PAC's excuse in 2019? There was NO LCA Tejas back then...

[Typed a message, but removed it in the end. Reason: as to why JF-17 didn't make an appearance]

The Mirage-2000 has Al Tariq MK 82 and MK 83 equipped on it, and in the future will get the Saber cruise misile with terrain mapping and an infrared seeker.
Yes, lovely.

Fascinating what all money can buy. And i'm not talking about the missiles.

Its nice the real brains behind the likes of Raytheon, LM, MBDA, L3Harris, Collins Aerospace have been able to contribute.

How professional were the UAEAF pilots compared to other countries pilots?

Okay, so I think i've covered all the good stuff.

Maybe I might upload the rest tomorrow.
Did someone took complete poster board pic of block 3 specs ? So
Yes, I & and an esteem Member of [PDF] were standing together right there discussing the f-ups of PAC.

2nd Air Show in a row, might I remind you.

Sharp procurement team when it comes to buying equipment for their pilots.

Most are operationally decent, and some are exceptionally brilliant. On the whole, from ex-PAF pilots who have written the course syllabus for their OCU phases....the Emirati fighter pilots have above average motor skills, with the cockpit environment not being challenging for them.
And lately they have had more females in their fighter squadrons, 2 on Mirage 2000-9s and 3 on F-16s. One of them was most recently the OC of a Viper squadron.

It is their capability in combat that was of question in the past. Desert Storm or whichever op at the time in 1991 was their first exposure to combat.

Overall at the airshow, you can see how they performed from their aerobatics teams, F-16 demos and Mirage 2000-9 demos. I personally know both Mirage 2000 demo pilots and could tell they were clearly smart lads, not the typical "inshallah" Emirati locals.
From what I have observed, UAEAF Pilots and Crew all copy USAF moves and actions.
Even blowing kisses to the ground crew.
They copy the Pakistanis as well, and the Paks are more than happy to kiss back
