2014 is not 1962 - Indian Much Better Prepared for Chinese Challenge

As i said its not just the Indians(though i know they whine/cry/still feel bad alot about their humiliating defeat to China decades ago), it also applies to several Asian countries who still allow history to haunt them. Its the case with Vietnam/india towards China, China/South Korea towards Japan, Cambodia/Laos towards Vietnam, Singapore towards Malaysia, Bengladesh/Pakistan towards India, etc.... These countries should all move on and try to forget/forgive about the past. Afterall, unlike the Chinese still demanding an apology from us for the opium wars/from Japan for world war II etc, the U.S whom we invaded/colonised and even burnt their white house/presidential palace hasn't ever asked for an excuse from us, they have moved on like a mature country/power should do and even forged an alliance with their former colonial master. Im sure if it was an asian country who was in U.S position, then we will never be allies today, we will still be fighting over historical issues/events and arguing over who's version of history is correct/apologies etc.lool:lol: Its really getting tiring/boring man, especially when 'big'/powerful countries still react this way.:disagree: Time to move on and act like adults/mature powers.:yu::coffee:

I am not aware of that China is demanding an apology from UK for the opium war. I only know that China is pissed of when some British parliament members wanted to investigate Hongkong street riots.

Japan is another matter. It's like Scottish and English.

Golden Chinese position.

"What we have is ours, what you have is negotiable." :enjoy:

Is this a reason for Indian reputation of being "think like a Indian and talk like a British"...8-)
