2013 Elections were largely conducted fairly: JC Report

The Judicial Commission (JC), formed to inquire into the allegations of rigging in the last general elections, has concluded that 2013 General Elections were in large part organized and conducted fairly and in accordance with the law.
The 237-page Report, presented by the Commission to the Government yesterday, has been made public and is available on the website of the Ministry of Law and Justice of Government of Pakistan (www.molaw.gov.pk).
The Commission, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, has held that the plan or design to manipulate or influence the election has not been disclosed with any degree of specification by any of the parties to the proceedings. It is also not discernible from the material placed before the Commission.
The Commission also concluded that despite some lapses by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), it cannot be said on the evidence before the Commission that on an overall basis the elections were not a true and fair reflection of the mandate given by the electorate.
Chief Justice of Pakistan was Chairman of the Judicial Commission while Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan of the Supreme Court were its members.

Wonder if this CJ is waiting for a farishta to tell them its time to sit in your grave and rot then they can see how the evidence resulted in injustice

It's sort of like, I accuse person A of murder, but the judging authority judges that the person in question did not commit the murder but he did kidnap the murdered person B. But since the judgement in question was A committed the murder or not, hence the guy is innocent. Getting my drift?

Bad example.

The thing here is, yes there was rigging, but not on large scale so to say systematic rigging. Supreme courts admits that "large part was free and fair"

But people like I quoted above will have reading deficincy when they read the report. They'll miss "largely fair" and say oh look supreme court bought by Nawaz saying rigging never took place, so what about those open ballot boxes etc rtc

The key to understanding this verdict is to grasp the fact that the comission doesn't argue that rigging didn't happen, it surely did, however what it states that it wasn't organized or preplanned as PTI alleged for the better part of the year during the futile sit-in. A very severe blow to the party's credibility and image for common voters.
