2012 The end of World!

First of all the world would not gonna end in 2012, everybody believes on that irrespective of their religions or personal beliefs, so Pakistanis and Indians are atleast united on one thing.

About a month back I was watching a documentary Natgeo about this crystal skulls and 2012 predictions by Mayans. In that movie they also showed a chinese calender which exactly ends at the same date. Since I have not seen the movie as yet so I cant comment but by learning through this forum about chinese involvement maybe this was the connection.

But again if Mayans calender ends on 2012 then it does not mean its the end of the world it is maybe becuase of the technology they had to see or predict things in future were limited till this time period. My two cents.

I personally don't believe End of the day will come in 2012..... There could be some disasters but that does not mean the Day of Judgement is near.... only Allah knows when the Qayamat will take place

There could be some minor (considering the day of judgement) disasters like earthquake, tsunami, hurricanes but that does not mean that will be the last day of our human history. There are so many disasters taking place already and 1-2 more will not ruin the whole world.

Only Allah knows When the Day of Judgement is to come as mentioned in the Holy Qur'an

I kiind of doubt that too,,,, been hearing about the end of the world all my life, never happens,,, least not yet.

Few years ago in California there was a bunch that committed suicide so they could join up with some Alien Space Ships in some kind of end of the world idea...we have a lot of nuts like that...

We have to distinguish both

For some people Science is an ultimate source..for some people religion is..

The meaning of a hadith is as under:

"kisi k khuda ko bura mt kaho, who palat k tumhary kuda ko bura kahy gy aur beshak tumhara kuda har Aib sa pak hay"
