The Americans have intentionally left this border unsecured other wise this would have been their first priority but since they have ulterior motives the sealing off of the border was never done in the 10 years that they have spent in Afghanistan.

I have been saying the same thing. Let the americans stop harbouring terrorists trained by RAW before they point their dirty fingers at others. If the americans were honest about fighting terrorism they would not keep the Afghan border open.

ISAF and US have totally failed to control the terrorism from Afghanistan. ISAF has be a failure to control the Afghan Border because they are busy blaming other for their failures.

Pakistan has lost trust with Uss and with Taliban as well. It is due to their double game. Now both are attacking. There is saying you can't fool all the people all the time.

Normally who are honest with America are well off. It has been proved with Japan, south Korea,Taiwan and Germany etc.

The countries you've mentioned are not Muslim states, hence, uncle sam could afford to be honest. If these were Muslim states you would not see such honesty from uncle sam. Pakistani secular rulers blindly trusted and followed the US, they had to because their political lives depended on it. In return, the US started screwing them big time and now, these secular politicians have no face to show to their countrymen. The moment the US started telling Pakistan that india was not her enemy, it became clear to all Pakistanis what the americans had on their mind.

It must be that all the Pakistani surveillance drones were on the "eastern" border...Like the over flight of the US SEALS a month ago, the PA must not think anyone would attack them from the west ....

Sir, with due respect... It's your border and your Army's responsibility... Drama or no Drama... These guys are killing your countrymen and there is no brouhaha about that? why doesn't your army nail the $cumbags or seal your border with them (howsoever long it is)? It pains me to see so many die for no fault of theirs...

This has to stop... even if that means kicking out the Yanks or pulling your army straight... This is a travesty and should not be tolerated....

To all those who say Pakistan has been played, drama etc etc, Yes Pakistan is little kid who is still sucking on a lollipop. Time and again Pakistan has not learned its lesson. Trusting all those who are not to be trusted. It seems as by every passing day Pakistan Army is getting more incompetent by minute. Its a shame that it engulfs over 70% of this country's budget yet only thing good at is Propaganda and conquering its own people every few years.
A Navy making deals with Al-Qaida is worthless to say the least.
Its not the Generals, Admirals who are dying in these attacks but ordinary soldiers. Shame.

We are Afghnaistan's neighbhour and has been its neighbhour for centuries. No matter what happens the Afghans cannot be hostile to Pakistan in the long term. In the end we share the religion, play cricket together, eat the same food, same traditional values, share language and pray together. Millions of Afhans refugees that lived here and had children and went back speak Urdu now and watch Pakistanis TV stations. So no worries, Afghans and Pakistanis are not invaders and are here to stay. Pakistan does not trust the US either and we have asked the US to pack and leave before as well from the USAF Base in Bada Bear during the Cold War in the late 60s.

You can keep blaming others for failing to stop the inflow of militants, but at the same time you need to take responsibility to protect your own borders.

See the US Mexico border for an example... Mexico does almost nothing on their end to prevent illegal migrants from attempting to cross the borders, but we never see the US blame Mexico for this problem. They keep on improving and learning from their mistakes and everytime make it harder and harder for the illegal trespassers to jump over their borders.

Now coming back to the topic, what has Pakistan done in order to safeguard its western borders? Does it not know that a War is going on in the region for the last decade? How many procedural changes have been brought about in guarding these areas? Question to ponder indeed.

So I suppose India will take responsibility for the Mumbai thing? and will not raise a hue and cry should the line of control become porous ? ? And Afghanistan and her US/NATO "allies" will not complain if they find they cannot be everywhere all the time??

All of these things are simply excuses and pressure tactics - the reality is no force can be everywhere all the time and the lack of cooperation between neighbors and so called "allies" suggest that not enough discussion of interests and how these may be mutually agreed upon is or has occurred and this is what needs attention
