nobody care about religion in the UK. the UK is very non religious compare to the US, i think same thing goes to russia and germany.

People are suspicious of Obama's faith for a couple of reasons. First, the "Church" he belonged to had a very distinct flavor that was less than savory. Second, apparently he has not attended ANY worship service since he has been elected, which makes people wonder. Faith is still an important thing in the U.S.

But would that make him worse than others.......

What if he himself say he is muslim. Would that be a crime. I mean whats the big deal. I just cant understand purpose of the poll.

The big deal is not about constitution. As long as somebody is american born citizen, he/she can be a presidential candidate(and off course there are other criteria as well), muslim, hindo, yahood, nasara etc is equal in the eyes of constitution. but there is a problme with the public, they wont vote a muslim candidate. do we ever vote our christian or yahoodi candidates? it is a big no! same thing goes there.
