Or just apply the same principles that led to the INC & ML demanding and receiving independence from British occupation and oppression and allow the Kashmiris to choose between India, Pakistan and independence - a peaceful way of resolving the dispute that has already been supported by the UNSC (barring the option for independence, the addition of which to the plebiscite shouldn't be an issue provided India & Pakistan agree to it).

The fact that you're advocating for full fledged war to resolve the J&K dispute, instead of supporting the UNSC directed means of letting the people decide in a peaceful manner, does not reflect well on you.

What you don't realize is that hate doesn't operate in a vacuum.

The impacts of Modi and the changes in Indian society were never going to stay limited to India.

I still engage with Indians in my personal life, still call some of them friends, but it's become a litmus test to see whether they support the BJP or not. If they do, there's polite and civil 'ghosting'. If they don't, many in person, when we do get around to discussing the geo-politics of South Asia, don't oppose a plebiscite, which is icing on the cake.
