My friend in the place says the Indian military forces have gone Bezerk. If you killed a militant poster boy and someone who was social media savvy, you will get some protests and backlash. Best is to contain them and minimize damage and let it die out. Instead, the fools are killing unarmed protestors indiscriminately and committing human rights violations left and right; it will blow up in their faces.
Even the Kashmiris who were looking to work things out with India and work as Indian citizens are now turning against them.

We have been fighting this problem since 1989

Obviously we are doing some things RIGHT ; That is why Kashmir is still with India

The present level of violence is just 10 percent of that in the Nineties

The only change is that internet and TV media make things look worse
than they actually are

It is the NEW and next generation of Kashmiris who are testing India's WILL and strength

Kashmir will become normal and peaceful in a few days
