2 Militants assassinated in Iran

.
According to pro baloch militant media, 2 militants involved in attacks on security forces in Balochistan have been assassinated by unknown men in Pishin, Iran.

Both of the victims hailed from Kech, Balochistan. One of the militant killed is identified as Zahid alias Murad, while second militant killed was Hammal.

Zahid was brother of another commander Mullah Idrees alias Mullah Junaid who surrendered to the state only last week.

Mullah Junaid hailed from BLF, it is believed that this incident was as a punishment for Junaid for giving up terrorism.

Update:
BLF has issued statement in regards to the killings. Confirms that Zahid and Hammal were assassinated in Iran. Zahid's brother had surrendered to State authorities recently. Zahid was under pressure to laydown arms too but they refused.

BLF has placed responsibility of killing on State authorities, which is understandable as they are not going to accept that they had killed Zahid to teach his brother a lesson. Trying to cover up their mess.
Good job Iran.

caught between a rock and a hard place. cant escape the clutches of terrorist trica of raw/cia/nds
not MOIS right even though he was killed in Iran? ha ha . at least u exposed your bias nicely.

. . .
he has clarified his position. Anyway, states are not threatened by voices. Let him express and have counter narrative build. We should be able to answer what young people think. Giving -ve rating is like suppressing his inner voice/questions. If someone is habitual then we should give -ve rating. Or someone if not convinced in 2-3 days (idk).

F*ck his position

This person is a racist. I remember this guy attacking urdu speaking Pakistanis of Karachi saying that they don't belong to Pakistan and are not son of the soil because they migrated from India

He is a racist maniac and loves terrorists who attack Pakistan

Screw him

.
Such killings will only accelerate surrenders. The militants will learn that their paymasters will have them killed.
But then the Pakistani state must provide them safety to encourage more of them to surrdener.

Very sane post and no issue in dialogue as Pak Govt has made many Baluch separatists to surrender by lucrative offers and counter measures. Many hard line Baluch nationalists are showing soft stance. However their just complaints should be discussed and solved. There should be a separate thread where such issues should be discussed.

lols you have a good memory man. Muhajir as they are called, are Pakistani. As they migrated to be Pakistani, and are son of soil in every manner. Be it of Pakistan or Indus valley. Khilji on other hand can be Pakistani but not indians (Indus/Indo) like me. Though my ancestors are from east Punab and Himachal.

Naming ciA, raw fdoesnt cause irritation, lying and misinforming people causes me irritation.
what lying and misinforming? if you are going to engage me out of being irritated then at least make sense at what you are trying to get at!

.
I actually made a mistake on the name since both incidents were placed next to each other on my Incident tracker,I even amended O.P
Zahid was brother of Mullah Junaid, who was in BRA.....Zahid along with his buddy were shot up dead in Pishin, Iran, not Pishin, Pakistan. That is confirmed....
Barkat Ali was another guy shot dead at Panjgyur Bus terminal next day after Mullah Junaid surrendered

:azn:
thank you for confirming.
we not only keep the quality of our post high but we also save ourselves from the hassle of retracting news.
it is important that we avoid gossip and sensational stories and base our content as accurate as possible.

it is understandable that due to the nature of some reporting we are not at the liberty of disclosing our sources but if needed we can present our vetting process.

there are some interesting observations regarding this few recent incidents where BLA/BLM/ BLF operatives have met "sudden and unnatural ends" .

we have been able to get the images of the place and people targeted (the scene and the place of their recovery).
there is no official or unofficial word from our Iranian counterparts.
nor there is anything on terrorist websites or their social media accounts

the added banter , confusion and accusations and counter accusations traded in the thread about Pakistan v Iran Good/ Bad Iran and or Pakistan are also very useful in keeping the militants and their sympathizers worried and confused and I expect our respected and responsible members from both Iran and Pakistan to continue their arguments in a civilized and educated manner.

I am not at the liberty of disclosing more information but I will like to thank all Pakistani and Iranian people who have helped in recent counter terrorism operations.

What the enemy media outlets writes has depth to check its involvement in Baluchistan crisis.

“Pakistan is a terrorist organisation and its economy and foreign policy are driven by terrorism. However, it is high time the civilised world adopts a strong approach and stops Pakistan’s blackmailing tactics for good”, says Bashir Zeb, former chairman of BSO-Azad and the actual commander-in-chief of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

In an exclusive interview for ThePrint, Zeb is quite forthright: “The reason Baloch have not been successful in securing foreign help, is Pakistan’s usage of terrorists as a blackmailing tactics and foreign policy instruments. If a neighbouring country decides to help Baloch on humanitarian basis, Pakistan uses its proxy terrorist organisations to carry out bloodbaths in those countries. For example, if NATO ever decides to help the Baloch nation, Pakistan will use its international terror organisations to raise havoc upon NATO in Afghanistan”.

Zeb, who joined the armed struggle in 2011 because “My fellow activists were getting killed by Pakistani state forces on daily basis”, is crystal clear about militancy, the armed struggle and the role of Pakistan and China in the ongoing genocide in Balochistan.

The BLA continues its struggle, despite the ban on BLA imposed by the US State Department in July 2019.

Excerpts from an interview with journalist and author Francesca Marino for ThePrint.

How is the US ban going to impact the BLA struggle?

It will not impact BLA’s activities in any way. Our activities and existence in Balochistan cannot be compromised as long as we enjoy public support. However, if we politically analyse the recent ban then it is very clear that the ban, instead of being related to BLA, US or the Baloch nation, is more relevant to ISI’s role in the US-Taliban dialogue.

Pakistan demanded this ban in return for bringing its proxies to the dialogue table. The most funny aspect of this whole saga is that US had to resort to proscribing a secular organisation as terrorists in order to directly have dialogues with an established terrorist entity. We know for sure that the US will soon realise its mistake but they should have already realised that Pakistan is not a state that can be bestowed with any form of trust.

It has been said the Baloch struggle has been hampered by a lack of political strategy and by internal divisions?

Last year, all the groups formed an umbrella organisation, BRAS or Baloch Raaji Aajohi e Sangar thanks to the efforts of BLA’s former chief martyr General Aslam Baloch and BLF leader Dr Allah Nazar Baloch. It currently comprises four organisations, BLA, BLF, BRA and BRG. The main purpose of BRAS is to encourage cooperation amongst the armed organisations, carry out effective joint operations against the enemy, resolve internal differences and increase the military power of the Baloch nation. The ultimate aim of BRAS is to unite all pro-freedom Baloch forces to form a national Army.

But the armed struggle goes nowhere without a political strategy.

The Baloch freedom struggle has an established and very clear political strategy and that is the main reason behind its continuous success. We consider armed struggle as a form of political approach. Our movement stems from established political concepts and it is in its current status only because peaceful means of struggle have been forbidden and so an armed struggle is the only choice left to us. However, our guns strongly follow political principles and ideologies because absence of such principles only lead towards anarchy.

Our guerilla struggle is not offensive in nature but rather defensive and is bound by a political strategy. If we had a civilised country in front of us where democracy was existent and the voice of majority was heard, we would have used other forms of political struggle. Politics is always practised according to the ground realities and the facts on the ground in Balochistan warrant an armed struggle.

Who’s giving the political guidelines?

As far as a joint political command is concerned, it exists in form of BRAS. However, as with everything, this also has room for further improvement. Currently, a majority of Baloch activists are educated and politically aware youth and intellectuals. Today, the majority of freedom fighters are the ones who have been nurtured in political structures. All our leaders have strong political knowledge and have successfully maintained and improved the movement continuously for 20 years now. In fact, today’s freedom fighters have the full potential to run the administration, bureaucracy and military of an independent Balochistan.

So there’s no division amongst Baloch leaders?

Baloch leaders do not have major politcal differences. In the form of BRAS, a majority of Baloch stakeholders have already joined forces. We enjoy pleasant relations with other leaders too and are continously working towards unity. There are few points on which all the Baloch leaders agree, which are Balochistan’s complete freedom, formation of a secular and democratic state and we have the common friends and foes.

The main foe, in the past year, appears to have been China. The US ban on BLA quotes the attacks on the Chinese consulate in Karachi on November 2018 and the attack to the Pearl Continental hotel in Gwadar in May. Why does BLA seem to target only Chinese interests?

China is involved in mass plundering of our natural resources. To further its economic and military expansionist designs, it has occupied our ports and is present on our land without our consent. Moreover, it is actively aiding Pakistan financially as well as militarily in attempts to quash our freedom struggle. Therefore, our attacks against Chinese interests have continued since 2004. Recently, China has increased their projects manifold and is directly involved alongside Pakistan in Baloch genocide. Therefore, in order to halt Chinese advancements we are justified to intensify our attacks, which will witness further intensity in coming days.

@Irfan Baloch and @Foxtrot Alpha .. how US Military official perceive this on going situation .

I am not Shia, nor Irani, but i hate hypocrisy..

On last post, i said Pakistan was also failed to eliminate these Bloch foreign funded terrorists like Jindullah...

So, there should be co-operation b/w both countries to eliminate all these groups..

There is also another sectarian group ex- Sipah e Shhaba Pakistan, which re-named to "Ahle Sunnat wal Jammat Deoband", name was re-named to get rid of sanctions, this group was involved in Shia and Barelvi killings and was fully supported Rana Sannaullah and other politicians, group was also notorious for Hijacking Barelvi mosques like Noor Mosque from Hyderabad...

if you snub the alternative view then there is no difference in this forum and forum of those countries where people are raided and their entire families picked up.

whatever has happened was made possible with some Iranian help and it will continue to happen. everything wont be clear and presented to you because this ambiguity helps in keeping our enemies confused.

I have removed the unnecessary opening of your post that normally results in a sectarian rant.

there is no disagreement with your commentary regarding the proscribed sectarian terror organisations that register themselves with different names. whatever you are saying has a merit but its irrelevant in this thread.

Pakistan has helped Iran in dealing with some Jundullah terrorists that have attacked Iranian mosques and govt officials . in return our people have been able to quietly take out some BLA terrorists inside and close to Iranian borders with direct or indirect help of Iran.
