Iran actually has a very succesful multi-layered security system that heavily emphasizes on neutralizing a threat before it comes even close to IRan. thats the lesson learned from 8 years of war in Iranian lands. You need to take the war/insecurity away from your borders.

I wish more Pakistanis understood this.

A lot of people say Iran gets involved in conflicts far away from its borders, but this is actually a great strategy. Iran is taking war and security far away from its borders before it even comes close.

Meanwhile Pakistan is fighting rights on its own border with India. If Pakistan had adopted Iran's strategy, we could take the fight deeper into Eastern India and reduce the threat on our border before it can even come close to Pakistan.

If Pakistan gets involved in conflicts far from its border, this will improve Pakistan's security to make sure no threat can ever come close to our borders by adding another layer of defense. Pakistan spends all its time guarding right at the primary border line of defence, so of course this is a recipe for disaster that is bound to fail when threats slip in through the border without any additional layers to cross far from the border.
