2 Bangladeshis killed in BSF firing

India every second day reminds Bangladesh that if you are not strong enough to kill 5 to 10 Indian soldiers in return we would keep killing your people so Bangladesh be strong spend on your Armed Forces a lot more than what you currently are doing other wise you will be killed by Indian Forces @BDforever

.
@monitor You will not mind my statement that after 1971 all armed services of Bangladesh are just guarding political interests and after January 2014 it has gone worst,Bengalis are being treated like ants by BSF and BGB is sleeping

BSF kills 2 along Jhenidah border

Indian Border Security Force gunned down two Bangladeshi cattle traders inside their territory opposite to Jadobpur border in Moheshpur upazila of Jhenidah early today.

The victims are Aminur Rahman, 35, son of Miraj Ali of Lebutala village and Khoyjol Hossain, 40, son of Sahadat Mondol of Jaluli village in the upazila, reports our Jhenidah district correspondent.

Another cattle trader, Abul Kashem, 32, was shot during the incident. Locals rushed him to a Jhenidah hospital after he managed to enter the Bangladesh side.

Police and witnesses said a group of at least 11 cattle traders started for India to bring some cattle.

As they reached Kashipur village area in Uttar-24-Pargana around 4:30am, BSF troops of Jitpur camp opened fire on them.

Three cattle traders were injured in the BSF firing, leaving Aminur and Khoyjol dead on the spot, police said.

The rest of the cattle traders managed to flee.

Two bodies were seen lying inside the Indian territory, said Border Guard Bangladesh Company Commander of Chuadanga camp SM Moniruzzaman in the morning.

A flag meeting will be held between BGB and BSF officials where the former will ask the Indian border guards to hand over the two bodies.

In fact yr own religious party Jammat was responsible for killing thosands of Bengali Muslims during the 1971 war. Recently one of Jammat members was convicted by a court in Bangladesh after 44 years.

About that guy Khalid newazi,he tells me it was bcoz of Bangladesh, that India & Pakistan got freedom, otherwise both would have been the slaves of British. I don't know from where he got this. Even the British would be shocked after reading his statement. I would say some Bangaldeshi version of History

In the days of the internet if one WANTS TO, it's not difficult to find the right answer from neutral sources. :-)

the Nawabs of Bengal-Bihar-Orissa since 1600s to when British colonized were considered Mughal.
Please enlighten me on this. So according to u the Nawabs were considered Mughals, don't come up with rotten decayed version of History.

Emergence of the Nawab of Bengal
Early nineteenth century view ofMurshidabad, with theKatra Mosquein the backdrops.Murshid Quli Khanarrived as the governor of Bengal in 1717 AD. Before his arrival there were fourDiwans. And, after his arrival,Azim-ush-Shanheld theNazim's office. Azim got into conflict with Murshid Quli Khan over imperial financial control. Considering the complaint of Khan, emperorAurangzebordered Azim to move to Bihar.[29]Upon his departure the two posts united in one and Murshid Quli Khan became the firstNazim cumDiwan of Bengal. Murshid Khan was appointed the "Nawab Nazim of Bengal" and he emerged as the ruler of Bengal under the Mughals.[2][30]Murshidabadremained the capital of the Nawabs of Bengal until their rule.[31]

From 1717 until 1880, three successive Islamic dynasties – Nasiri, Afshar and Najafi – ruled what was then known as Bengal.[2][32][33]

The first dynasty, the Nasiri, ruled from 1717 until 1740.The founder of the Nasiri, Murshid Quli Khan, was born a poorDeccani Oriya Brahmin before being sold into slavery and bought by one Haji Shafi Isfahani, a Persian merchant from Isfahan who converted him to Islam. He entered the service of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and rose through the ranks before becoming the Nawab Nazim of Bengal in 1717, a post he held until his death in 1727. He in turn was succeeded by his son-in law,Shuja-ud-Din Muhammad Khan.[34]After Shuja-ud-Din's death in 1739 he was succeeded by his son,Sarfaraz Khan, who hold the rank, until he was killed in theBattle of Giria in 1741, and was succeeded by Alivardi Khan, former ruler of Patna, of the Afshar Dynasty in 1740.

I agree. We're treating our friends pretty badly. There's no need to shoot anyone and everyone you see crossing the border. We must have a proportionate response. Death is not an appropriate punishment for cattle smuggling. But we need some help for BSG. We could jointly patrol the border and make sure that there are no illegal border crossings. Finance projects in BD to reduce the incentive to cross the border for employment. I'm sure there's other things we can do, I don't know. I'm just getting a little tired of reading about these border deaths all the time.

The only solution is Bengal and Pakistan be one again.

Yes we can. In a more pragmatic way. A confederation. Both countries will run separately. No soldier or civillian deployment freely (Eg west to east, east to west). BD will get Pakistani Missiles and nukes. Pakistan will get hefty money out of this. BD will get the techs. BD and Pakistan jointly build ships with help from China. Pakistan get more money on space technology and share the techs to BD. BD and Pakistani merchants do business without Tax.

@IND_PAK
It is a not a crime to visit your friends house without notice but visiting yr friend house who lives in another country without any valid visa is a crime. India & Bangladesh r different countries. Cattle trading my not be a crime for you,but today cattle, tommorow it could be smuggling currency, drugs.
The best solution is to establish some communication or hotline between the 2 countries where they can exchange information if they come across any intruder. What do u say on this

not all Mughal subehdars and nawabs were direct descendants of Babar. since Bengal became part of Mughal empire, the posts were appointed was as per the dictates of the Delhi-based administration and/or the provincial administration.

my advice to you is try revisionism a little less and try to stick to facts which is in your words "decayed version of History"

Pakistanis killed us in 1971 during a civil war and our "friendly neighbour's" border guards kill us everyday even when there's no war, our 'friendly neighbour' tells us whom we should see as friends and whom we should see as enemies, our 'friendly neighbour' tells us what our culture should be, what kind of politics we should allow and what kind of Islam we should practice. After all this, they go on building killer dams over all the international rivers entering BD and finally bringing a KKK type bigots to power.
