1971 war a RAW success?

So, it is really important to find evidence. But it is interesting that you are expressing doubt claiming for evidence where enough is already known about the big picture to see that it is quite plausible that this had actually happened. And intelligence agents job is to hide their tracks, so unless we get some classified RAW files, it will be difficult to uncover. Another way would be to detain and question all Awami League leaders and workers active at that time in 1971.

As I said, there is some (not all) distortion as to what exactly happened back then. I believe it is crucial to reveal the whole picture of Bangladesh's past.

I mean, it has been 40+ years already.

Zabaniya, think about what he is saying. Majority Bangladeshi's are clueless and stupid and I agree with him. You are as confused as many. Corruption and foreign enemy agent are two different things, you must understand the difference.

I'm confused? Well, yes. That is because of lack of information.

I do support justice for the victims of 71'. Particularly that of the intellectuals for the sake of their family honor. But from my observation, we are really just beating about the bush.

This 'war crimes trail' will not yield anything. I can guarantee that. The AL barely has a year left anyways.

As I said, lack of information, massive distortion, and vested interests are what is really hurting the matter. And yes, Bangladeshis are pretty much clueless as to where their country is heading to.

@ From the very beginning, Bhutto was highly ambitious. It was Bhutto who hurriedly planned for "Operation Gibraltar " in Kashmir in 1965 which was a complete failure.

@ Bhutto was responsible for the quick fall of Ayub Khan.
yes he was. but I have 1 question in my mind that whenever a country breaks down it is from inside support/people support as russia broke and tajkistan, uzbikstan etc got independence. 1947-48 clash a part of kahmir got liberated bcoz of internal support same is the case with bangladesh in 71. but in 65 kashmiries do not supported pak army as they did in 1947-48.so i think if there had been true support of local kashmiries the may had been liberated. i just want to know why kashmiries did not support PA.

@ Since my childhood till 1970 when I was in Pakistan I had been hearing all propaganda's about Kashmir. It is still in my mind. "Watang hamara Azad Kashmir ". I heard so many songs, dramas and other stories but the outcome is zero. In those days we used to here the stories of Sk Abdullah and then Farouqe Abdullah. Actually what I gauge the this Abdullah family was very powerful and they had a good hold in Kashmir politics. And now Omar Abdullah is the present Chief Minister. National Conference is very powerful political party.

I agree that history is always written with a certain bias and narratives are fed to the People with an even more pronounced bias but some of us, Kashmiris, really are loyal to Pakistan ! :pakistan:

I dont know why so many India Kashmiri girls come to Bangladesh for study. Somebody told me that their parents find it safer to send their girl to a Muslim Country than any other cities in India. How true is it?

A political movement (which you implied as inside support) needs time to ripe. You can not impose it from outside as 1965 war was all of a sudden confused the hell out of Kashmiris. There were nobody to lead them from inside. In 1947 you got the support as Kashmiris had the momentum of All India Muslim League movement. In 1965 it was just a war btn India and Pakistan.
