أفاد السيد عبد الكريم الزبيدي لدى إشرافه صباح الاثنين 24 ديسمبر 2012، على الاحتفال بالذكرى السادسة والأربعين لتأسيس الأكاديمية العسكرية أن وزارة الدفاع الوطني شرعت في إعداد النصوص الترتيبية المتعلقة بالنظام الأساسي الخاص بهيئة الضباط المدرسين الباحثين في التعليم العالي العسكري.

وأوضح أن هذا القانون الأساسي سيضبط شروط وإجراءات التعيين ومشمولات كل الأطراف فظلا عن سعي الوزارة إلى تحيين البرامج التعليمية والمناهج البيداغوجية وتكييفها مع حاجياتها على ضوء التحولات والمستجدات المعرفية والتكنولوجية المتنامية.

وأضاف وزير الدفاع الوطني أن اللجنة المكلفة بمراجعة برامج التكوين الجامعي بالأكاديميات العسكرية قطعت أشواطا متقدمة لتكون جاهزة في مفتتح السنة التكوينية 2013/2014 مشيرا إلى أنه تم إدخال تحويرات تنظيمية وهيكلية تهم بالأساس إدارة التعليم الجامعي وتشمل أقسام تقنيات ومنظومات الأسلحة والأنظمة الالكترونية والاتصالات واللغات والعلوم الإنسانية وذلك بهدف إكساب الأكاديمية العسكرية مزيدا من النجاعة.

وأكد السيد عبد الكريم الزبيدي أن الأكاديمية العسكرية ستشهد نقلة نوعية خلال السنوات الثلاث القادمة حيث سيتم بداية من سنة 2013 تجديد الفضاءات المخصصة للتدريس والتكوين والسكن وكل المرافق الحياتية بما يهيئ الظروف لسير عمل هذه المؤسسة في المجال الإداري والتأطيري والتكويني والبيداغوجي.

وأضاف أن الأكاديمية العسكرية ستواصل الاستفادة من التعاون مع البلدان الشقيقة والصديقة في مجالي التعليم والبحث وكذلك مع مدارس ذات إشعاع دولي ستعمل الأكاديمية العسكرية على توثيق الشراكة معها بتبادل الأساتذة والخبرات وإنجاز مشاريع ختم الدراسة لعدد من التلامذة الضباط المتفوقين تحت إشراف مزدوج للأساتذة المؤطرين من الجانبين.​

I just had KFC an hour ago & before that I ate a buffet in the afternoon !

At the buffet they had a particular dish with Arabian flat breads & Hummus as an appetizer with fresh olives - How the hell can you guys eat Hummus ? I felt like scraping my tongue clean after taking the first bite !

Did you just peg me along with Indians & Bangladeshis in the same sentence ?

You will pay for this insolence !

I suppose its because its not our native tongue & our tongues get a jolt when we have to twist & turn our faces in unnatural ways to make half the sounds that constitute the Arabic language !

But of course Farsi is superior to Arabic !

Hummos is our field of specialty (Bilad Alsham), Saudis are only good at eating meat and Kabsa with their bare fat hands
