19 Reasons Why You Should Never Visit Iran

@Sinan and my other respected Turkish fellow members,
is it fair to hope that you guys wont be as confrontational towards Persians as the Arabs are?
same question to Iranians as well.

after all it was Turkey, Pakistan and Iran that played their part in reducing the Yemen conflict any further and forced the UAE minister to make extremely racist comments towards non Arab Muslims countries.

we had RCD back in the good old days, which something meaningful and solid is revived again. (I know Syria is still a hotbed of disagreement between Turkey and Iran).

I think you should first learn to be respectful towards people before engaging them in dialog.

No, but they mostly come to Turkish Rivera... but If Alcohol, Discos,Sun-bathing in beaches had been forbidden they would look for alternatives.

You forgot medical tourists....combine them all and you can reach 5.3 Million, far from reaching " tens of millions "

I don't know if its lack of education
or barrier in communication or simple comprehension and misunderstanding

but seeing Turkish pragmatism re Yemen like Pakistan I hope that there is some reconciliation on Syrian side too
not for the sake of Asad or Tehran or Ankara but for the sake of millions of Syrians and people across the region.

@Serpentine
I enjoyed the Hamams
and really liked the lazy and chilled out mood of the bathers there. although after a long bath coming back to change clothes was chilling because of lack of protection from direct wind in the changing room. which I think should be protected and have same temperature like the bathing area.

please refrain from insults
what insult? Is n,t it sending your female family to street almost naked as it is in some so called Muslim nations?
If you review my posts you come to realize that I never started to respond unless I see some Turk or Arab starting to call names Iran and Iranians... But the way, it is no insult.. anybody consider reality as insult then I can do nothing for them... to me Muslims letting their female expose themslevs in public under the naked animal eyes of other males is exactly what I described.. I know well and no body can deny that all men no matter what their back ground or nationality is are animal-like when seeing an slight opportunity to please their sexual desires... In US and Australia that I have been th most, guys are exactly like those in Muslim countries... this is their nature... other than this not only I don't hate Turkish people but admire ordinary Turks ....

I don't know if its lack of education
or barrier in communication or simple comprehension and misunderstanding
One who starts calling us names or double-face expressions are not illiterate and those who respond are!!???
btw, yes, I lack both education and comprehension... if you like to take it this way!!

is it Persian saying?

Uzer e Gunah Bud Ter Az Gunah?
if someone else is bad mouthing you and your people then you souldnt follow suit

but admire ordinary Turks ....
After all the things you said, i really wonder what do you admire about ordinary Turks. ?

And have you ever been to Turkey ? If yes which city, how long did you stay ? I'm skeptical about your judgement about the "Ordinary Turk" :)

There is no Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran, and definitely no Warhol, Pollock, Munch, Hockney or Rothko to see. None. Don’t go there.

#15. The only wildlife in Iran comprises mosquitos and cockroaches.

There are no Persian Cheetahs in Iran. The ‘Persian’ in the name is just a misnomer.

Mao is going on tour, that's what it's about.

That Cheetah is so awesome, much better than the regular Cheetahs.

#6. The women are oppressed and downtrodden.

She looks like she needs someone to liberate her.

I been to Iran, because I dated an Iranian girl, though ironically, I did not go with her. She told me somethings and I seen some things, Iran isn't as liberal as this, but it's certainly not that closed off as some like to believe.

BTW, I know I should look at the girl, but why is she standing next to a picture of a European styled person?

now I'm questioning everything, is she Iranian? Have I been to Iran? Who's dog is that?! What's real!?!?

But a serious question, how did you know that's her? lol8-)
You can look up to her photos in instagram. (The first link that i gave)

19 Reasons Why You Should Never Visit Iran

No doubt you’ve heard a lot about Iran in the media. And it’s true, Iran is a truly evil and terrifying place. Here we present 19 reasons you should never, ever, visit this godforsaken land.

#1. The capital city is basically a ruin.

Tehran’s skyline is truly mediocre.

#2. Everyone lives in a mud shack.

The Tabatabaei house in Kashan is a pretty miserable place to while away your days.

#3. The villages are pretty much what you’d find anywhere else.

If Palangan village, on the border with Iraq, looks mildly impressive, it’s just because of the lighting. Nothing to do with the near-vertical positioning of the houses.

#4. The architecture is plain and lackluster.

Why would anyone want to visit the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz?

#5. Meh.

Oh Shiraz, is this the best you can do?

#7. Iranians are a grumpy, pool-party-hating bunch.

I would hate to be hanging out with this boring group.

#8. The food is unpalatable and bland.
