What's new

180 Million population can coup the country ASAP??

No.

Raptor, Its impossible. Even if we over take the government, then we are all gonna fight and kill each others. I say bring PTI to the presidency, you will say MQM, some will say PPP, others with PML-N.

Some would want their province and region to get in, others would want independence.
We will start with massacres, like in Karachi, by political Parties in all five provinces of Pakistan.

Here is something I need you all to read.

We already did fight and KILL each other everyday, check Dawns or googles. How many Pakistanis died regularly?

Every two hours, Pakistani were killed by suicide attacks, bombs, drones, revenges, politicals, religions, karachi, and vice versa. Pakistani themselves killed own peoples for money and benefits, don't you see it?

Yes, I read alot, it is been same problems since 1947. Nothing little change for Pakistan.

Libya and Egypt are in much better condition than pakistan

Nope, it is not better. There will be more civil wars between these people, yes bad leaders are gone, the risk is still there.

I have no hope for Pakistan and also Imran Khan because our country's government is alway screw up in last 65 years. We didn't want to act ourselves to improve Pakistan but waiting for someone to be good honest leader, lol. Maybe 100 years later.

I guess, some of you accept Pakistan's mock or stupid mocking at us in front of the medias, we don't accept it. Imran Khan's 'Promise' will likely become false hope in what Obama did. I think, Pakistan must change in what Soviet become Russia today in new systems and flags.

80% of Pakistanis say country is headed in wrong direction: Poll
Oct 14 2011

http://tribune.com.pk/story/273927/80-of-pakistanis-says-country-is-headed-in-wrong-direction-poll/
ISLAMABAD: A startlingly small number of Pakistanis think the country is headed in the right direction, according to the results of a recent Gilani Poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan.

In a survey, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the country were asked the following question:

In your opinion is our country going in the right or wrong direction?

The poll results revealed that only 18% Pakistanis think the country is headed in the right direction. 80% responded by saying that the country is headed in the wrong direction, while 2% did not maintain either view.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2,666 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, from September 2 – September 08, 2011.

The error margin is estimated to be approximately + 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.

no need to ''coup''

Hypothetically speaking -- civilian governments can be impeached and mid-term elections or care-taker government could be devised. There's nothing undemocratic about that. It's up to the masses.

He has a good chance in urban punjab and KPK ... rural areas no chance

he hasn't done a substantial presence or ''show'' in Sindh

Sindh has always been a PPP bastion (except Karachi). Hopefully that changes soon.

How good is Imran Khan's chances of winning the next election

Cant the oposition in Pak pass a no confidence motion in Parliament and ask Zardari to show his Bench Strength on the floor of House
if he fails the vote then PML N can call for early elections and People of pakistan can Try to vote some decent people to power
Opposition can't pass no confidence motion in parliament because they don't have desired numbers required to endorse the motion. But opposition is adopting other ways to get rid of the government, they are very much on their feet these days.

Imran Khan is going great... I cant guarantee his victory but for sure he'll make a difference.

Wow! I can't believe a Pakistani has written this! Most likely, Raptor must be a RAW agent!! How can a Pakistani ever think of commenting against the Army and ISI? That's a strict no no! :fie:

Mods: Please please ban Raptor! Beware! He is an agent of RAW! Lol!

If you ever had a chance to watch Pakistan news channels? Pakistani media is very vibrant they openly disagree and criticise Pakistan army where it is wrong. Perviaz Musharaf had to go only due to Pakistan media.

He wouldnt dare to challenge rural sindhi waderas , to put up a show is impossible in the next decade or so ...! only chance of any seats in rural sindh or punjab is if he can recruit one of the feudal's or any of local feudal lord approved candidate for his party , as for karachi i would personally love to see PPP and ANP ousted and taken over by PTI

PPP claims to represent the poor, when they've done nothing at all save for a few photo-opps

they simply brainwash the low-income farmers --the same ones who work on the farmlands run by PPP-sympathetic land barons.

the whole system has to change from grass-roots level. And that will only come with improved state-provided education. That's the only way. We rightfully blame this incompetent government, but the people must also change their ways and learn to think independently using logic and reason --rather than just as a collective group.

How come man?He seems like a perfect guy, barring some womanizing accusations,he is squeaky clean.

if you ask me he did nothing there even womanizing accusations were a cheap shot by his opponents "to acuse some one over bringing his personal life between thats silly in my view.

Rural areas are governed men who practice med evil land laws unfortunatly they were never abolished . Locals are deprived cant do any thing .. thats how

I am sure most Indians would welcome IK to be the head of Pak , he seems to be rational and not radical ..

However democratically elected PM or president should have more power than what they seem to be having currently in Pak.. right now it appears that Army seems to have a huge say in internal and external affairs of Pak and this must change in the interest of Pak .... in Most other successful democratic countries Army implements what the elected government says and not impose its will onto elected representatives PM and President!

Pakistan's political structure is very flawed, the feudal's and the army will never let you rise, its not in their interest to see a system. Really I dont see any changes happening in Pakistan unless you do something REALLY drastic, and im talking like something that has never been done before.

How good is Imran Khan's chances of winning the next election

His chances are as good as the people rallying behind him. He is gaining massive public support but all of it will be useless if people do not go out on the election day and actually vote. Shouting slogans and wearing Inquilab printed T-shirts is one thing and standing in a long queue in the blistering heat is another. If there is one factor which could seriously undermine the change that we all desire, it is people's lack of will to actually change things around them rather than waiting for a Messiah.

I just dearly hope that we have learned from our past misjudgments and our epiphany is not too late and without any purpose.

You want Pakistan to suffer the same fate as Egypt is right now? Or what Libya is seeing right now?

there were revolution's in countries like france , america which have made them better , such mass movements will bring a wave of changes in your nation

It is much easy to demonize a phenomena without really understanding why it occurs. The Army interferes because the Executive allows it to by leaving a vacuum in its mandated responsibilities. If the Army does not jump in, the state of Pakistan will not survive. Take a look at the superior judiciary of Pakistan. It has been meddling with the executives's domain in some cases but what is the alternative ? If the Executive does not do its job, someone else will step up to the plate and do it for them.

A good example would be the recent Suo Moto action by the Judiciary over the violence in Karachi. Had the executive done its job of protecting the people and their properties, Supreme Court would not have came down to Karachi to dictate them what needs to be done and how.
