Yes. That was my point. They all speak the way they speak their mothertoung . Lola in channel V was having a dedicated programme make fun South Indian accent ! ( never been a fan of it )

.
:o:
south Indians including telugus have their own pronunciation... sometimes its hard to understand... telugu pronunciation of English alphabets: ye, bee, cee, dee, eee, yef..... :)
telugus cant pronounce certain letters that they have their language.. for example 'Katha' is pronounced as 'Kada' (with soft d). Do ask your telugu friends to list alphabets in their language.

I never knew we pronounce like that :o::o:

It's a very interesting topic. What is pronounciasion? a combination of different sounds generated by placement of one's tongue or touching different parts of the mouth. If people of Pakistan can produce the 15th Urdu alphabet sound than every other human being should be able to produce the same sound, but most westerners can't, similarly Pakistan's can't make certain sounds from other languages. why? because we humans are restricted to pronounce only the sounds that we learn in our respective alphabets. Because we communicate using the language we learned (limited only to the sounds contained in alphabet set), we loose the ability or find it hard/unnatural to pronounce other linguistic sounds and thus mould the foreign sounds according to our "learned" sounds, and this phenomenon is not restricted to Pakistanis/south Asians only, the westerners do the same they can't pronounce certain sounds like Toay (22nd Urdu alphabet) so names like Tahir, Taimore get pronounced by Tay rather than Toay, etc.

Well most of the words you mentioned here is what we call these things is Urdu and it is not wrong English pronunciation. Those who know Urdu may actually realize that.
Still, there are so many words that our people pronounce wrong and understandably so. Perhaps you should listen a French speaking English or a German doing so.
