Why don't we throw a fuss like Indians did on 26/11. After all, we have lost many more lives to terrorism than they have.

We don't have media, diplomatic power. Further more we don't have Western interest align with us anymore. We are looking to the East and India to the West.

Yes you are right dear.

But let's not highlight Rawalpindi that much. Every city, every inch of our country should be taken as Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore..... Then ALL the problems of our country could be solved in a logical manner......

From a glass half full POV you could argue they are reduced to blowing up vegetable stalls in a tiny city of pindi as opposed to controlling teritorry like they were not too long ago.

FIR of Rawalpindi grenade blast lodged, 75 suspects rounded up

RAWALPINDI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab police has registered a first information report (FIR) of yesterday’s grenade explosion against unidentified persons.


According to the CTD, the case was registered under different provisions, including Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA). More than 75 suspects have been rounded up during overnight raids in the garrison city, it said.


Over two dozen people, including a woman and two children, got injured in the grenade blast in the city’s busy Ganj Mandi area on Sunday. It took place at around 2pm a few hundred meters from the Ganj Mandi police station.

The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi. All of them are said to be in stable condition, five have already been discharged.
