Finally,
Sq14 known with name ''Tail Choppers'' will be equipped with Jf17 on 16th January. Thunder will replace F7P that squadron currently operates.
Total 16 Air crafts were produced by PAC this year.

Edit : One Twin seat version with IFR probe has now entered testing phase. Also expect appearance of remainingTwin seat version of Jf17 in first half of this year. :)

Hope that Thunder will develop new air-to-air fighting skills in this squadron. A happy time ahead in the hands of Tail Choppers :-)

Every fighting squadron of PAF is a story of valor and success and it is indeed a great and 'big' news.

.
How do you pronounce 14 is it ONE FOUR Squadron or FOURTEEN Squadron!

.
The production rate is still very low. I was hoping the boys at PAC would have achieved an atleast 20 planes a year PR by now. At this speed they ll need 13-15 years just to fulfill our own orders.

Only 16 AC's for PAF or on the whole including export? But we were promised 24 examples for 2016 by PAC.

We should handover these F7P fighters to someone needy like Nigeria or Myanmar. Both of them purchasing JF17 and this will give them good standby product
