150+ injured around 20-30 dead after stage collapsed which was organized by ARY

ISLAMABAD - More than 150 people injured as a stage collapsed during a show of a local TV in Bahria Enclave Phase-II, the jurisdiction of Nilore police station.

According to the police, it was a show of ARY TV in which prizes were being distributed when chairs and stage fell down after the rod below the stage broke, which left about more than 150 people injured.

About 4,000 people were reportedly present at the stage when the incident took place. The 45 injured were shifted to Polyclinic and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital respectively.

The condition of several people was reportedly critical.

While watching their ( tv channels huge shows ) I always thinking is their safety measures alright or not and finally this happened. RIP of someone lost lives.

I heard this news a week ago, one of my colleagues was telling me about this incident and he said people tried informing other media groups but none of those media groups approved this as a news worthy to be reported.

Money talks, in any case this should be an eye opener for Pakistanis. I have read tickers of a bicycle accident on so many of these big media tv news channels and none of them gave any importance to this incident.
