No. Not wanting to go into detail but there is very loose to no correlation between death sentance and crime. Check out hanging, electrocuting capital of the Western world USA and then compare the country your in. See the stark differance in how criminals are treated and the murder rate.
Well I disagree to some extent. If a rapist is known, people will lynch him too but that's wrong. It should be done through the court however decades of poor governance and injustice has degraded the nation and people have started to take law into their hands.
Sweden is not all that differant to UK so I know the what your saying. But compare Sweden with it's "soft" approach and no corporal punishment. Then compare with "hang 'em high" USA.
If someone do this to little kids in USA cops will execute the guy in middle of streets and save society from all human right craps .
And is USA a safer or better country for it? No. it is home of serial murders. And murder/rape and other henious crimes are soaring.
Of course no. US system has brutalized society. violence begets more violence. Guns bring more guns. It is cycle. And USA has gone down that road way too much.
That's because USA lacks the social securities of Sweden. Here (in Sweden) an unemployed person gets a compensation from the state, help from the state in finding the jobs.. even I got recommended a few people for some lower level jobs from "job assistance agency". This concept is very very similar to the Islamic social system which I think is still far more idealistic and better since it eliminates usury altogether: the main weapon of the bankers and baniyas to exploit the poor and create disparities.

Well said. It is a brutalist, winner takes all society. Did you know that many American's consider European centre parties as "communists"?? Left or anything that smacks of socialist bent is swear word. The worse are the right wing religious loonny tunes.
Now I don't want to add the religious dimension but you know that it is. In Christianity (the right wingers) being rich and amassing wealth is considered the mercy of the God. So the richer you're the better. The most crank heads are Texans with their Donald Duckey accent and cow boy culture... of guns and horses.. very similar mindset to the nooni-tones in Pakistan. Same is being done in Pakistan but still most of the religious scholars discourage that and emphasise on charity and that is why Pakistan came on top in per capita charity in survey done by Agha Khan Foundation.
My friend was involved in installing CCTV AT Lahore, he put his best effort. Personal resources and setup a state of the art system at busy bus station / adda but what happen? Govt install their uneducated, paindu staff for monitoring since many got job from villages, they pledge support for specific party and these morons have zero knowledge and interest in their job....as a result with in six months 90% cameras go offline / stolen along with many expensive support system.

Pakistan needs to follow China and install fully integrated CCTV in all cities/towns with AI face recognition systems. I hear goes to the parents/family of this cute little girl whose life was cuit short.
