Most likely f-35B because the steam launchers are going to cost more, just like Britain did.

F-35C is far more capable and it is likely EMALS tech will be sold to India. The problem the UK had was they tried to retrofit steam catapults onto a platform that was desinged for STOBAR launch and as this wasn't in the orginal plans the cost was ridiculous so after spending millions they had to abdon this idea.
