That's what the deal is right now , who knows what happens in the near future.

8 +13 = 21 will complete 20+ a/c sqn so 19 sqn will get full strength, previous 8 blk 52 were just to add to 5 sqn another flight for training while 2 flights of 9 each for normal duties, I guess they are picking 8 best ones out of 15, may be rest will come for spares only in future or for now this is what paf can pick due to yearly allocation budget

Why not all 15? Is it due to finances or remaining airframe life issue?

Could be both or either or ... it has to be something out of the two because PAF would love to get their hands on as many as vipers then can specially from Jordan.

EFT and Rafales are way too expensive for PAF..... Understood
Su-35 or any other Russian or Chinese will add on to infrastructure cost..... Financial issue once again understood
Now we are talking of financial issues for used F-16s as well!!

It's not cost but cost vs capability If the offer platform life plus any upgrade cost vs capability ratio is not good then no.need to go for it.

Approx 2000 hours, approx. 10/15 years life plus jordanian asking price is reasonable then paf will go for it otherwise best to go for jf with 4k hours life at lower cost

Bottom line jordanian are no longer listing f16 as available for sale so something has changed , either gave up on selling or found a buyer
