From an outsider's perspective Imran Khan seems to be a charlatan. Does he have any qualifications to lead a nation?

That's an easy one.:yay:He definitely has more qualifications than Asif Ali Zardari, former President of Pakistan! So he's OK by current standards.

Khan got a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University. Does that not sound relevant to you?

Here is what Wikipedia has to say about Zardari's alleged education:
Zardari's academic background remains a question mark.[9] He received his primary education from Karachi Grammar School. His official biography says he graduated from Cadet College, Petaro in 1972.[5][9] He went to St Patrick's High School, Karachi from 1973–74; a school clerk says he failed his final examination there.[9] In March 2008, he claimed he had graduated from the London School of Business Studies with a bachelor of education degree in the early 1970s.[11] Zardari's official biography states he also attended Pedinton School in Britain.[9][11][13] His British education, however, has not been confirmed, and a search did not turn up any Pedinton School in London.[9][11][13] The issue of his diploma was contentious because a 2002 rule required candidates for Parliament to hold a college degree,[11] but the rule was overturned by Pakistan's Supreme Court in April 2008.[9][13]

In addition, Khan proved his determination and leadership abilities, not to mention his compassion for others, through his legendary cricket career, his creation of a cancer hospital, and his founding of Namal College, and his charitable Imran Khan Welfare Trust.

Now what's the problem?

Thanks! I have been hesitant of larger-than-life figures since that AAP Dharna Queen from New Delhi turned out to be a snake oil salesmen.

He's a highly educated individual who studied at Oxford and did his major there also since he formed his party in 1996, he's been steadily building the party. He is known in Pakistan for his great social work, honesty and non-corrupt personality and finally has an unbendable will of steel which almost all politicians lack in Pakistan.
